Complete the look in your bathroom with a shower from the Classic Bath Collection. Delta® showers with Monitor® pressure-balance valves are engineered to make sure you don’t experience a sudden and possibly unsafe change in water temperature as a result of running water elsewhere, such as using a dishwasher, flushing a toilet or running a washing machine. With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle — without interrupting your set temperature. You can install with confidence, knowing that Delta showers are backed by our Lifetime Limited Warranty.
  • Spray settings include: Full Body spray, Full Spray with Massage, Massaging spray, Soft Drench with Full Spray, and Pause
  • Pause feature reduces water to a trickle, giving you space for shaving, lathering and other shower tasks while maintaining your temperature settings
  • Soft, rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow you to easily wipe away calcium and lime buildup from the spray face of your shower head with the touch of a finger
  • Monitor® pressure balance valve keeps water temperature within a safe ±3.6° F (±1.7° C), helping to protect you from sudden changes in hot or cold water pressure
  • Lever handle controls on/off and adjusts volume, while the dial controls temperature

The shower head is much larger, and the water pressure much improved. I am completely satisfied with this product and Delta.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Function, Tacky Appearance Landlord's plumber installed this. Pressure from shower head is poor, the only setting that actually sprays is the fine spray in the outer ring, and it's so widely spaced it doesn't wet hair or rinse soap from skin. "Drenching" spray just spills straight down. No previous pressure problems with old set. Two hands required to change settings on shower head without loosening the whole thing, and it's too big for small hands to grip. Two hands also required to adjust temperature controls without turning off water. Less functional than either single-handle controls or 2-3 knob controls. Gaudy and ostentatious. In combination with chrome plate covering holes from previous 3-knob system, it looks like a wrestler's championship belt.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from temperature handle is made of cheap metal material that keeps breaking off!!!!! I've had this shower head and the temperature handle keeps breaking off. Now, I can't find a replacement part for this...even on the deltafaucet website ! The only way to get it is to buy the whole thing! Avoid!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Liberty Bell Ordered unit that showed smaller showerhead in pic. Receive one that's about 5" in diameter. Had two, the other in larger bath, to much of a bother to send back so used both to be done with it. Very out of scale with corner shower stall, heavy on additional swivel needed to get more sweep causing it too droop and after shower is turned off it drips a lot of water on you when your trying to towel off in stall.

I was impressed with the company's speed of resolution and attention to the problem. Other companies should do so well. The unit itself is a cost effective solution to the problem of a shower stall that is on the small side. The variable control and no scald features work perfectly at all times. We have installed 2 of these in separate showers and are totally satisfied with their quality and value.

How do you adjust the water temperature on a monitor single handle shower faucet

Hi, Larry! Thank you for your question. There is a rotational limit stop (RLS) at the temperature control to adjust the hot water limit. To adjust the RLS, first remove the temperature cover and take a Phillip's head screw driver and turn the set screw counter clockwise to remove. Remove the gray knob. Behind the knob, you should see a black disk. Take the disk and take it out and place the disk to the hotter side. The hot side should be up against the iron piece that is sticking down on the volume handle. Once adjusted, reinstall all handle parts. Best Regards, Rosanna

innovations 2 handle models T2730-LHP for tub and shower no longer exist. i need parts list for these.

are they the same as the sink 2 handle models 3530-24? seems like the parts for tub/shower would be larger. Your rep just told me they are the same and i wish to confirm. He gave me valve part as RP1740 and seats and springs as RP4993.

Thank you for your questions. Delta Faucet model # T2730-LHP is a roman tub faucet. The innovations handles that we recommend for this faucet are Delta Faucet part # H64 and A64. They are bigger than the handles for the lavatory faucets.

Hi, Jim! Thank you for your question. There is a screw that can be tightened for your temperature knob handle. To get to this screw, you may pull the temperature knob cover straight off. This will expose the screw and you should be able to tighten the screw with a Philips screw driver. Best Regards, Rosanna

Volume and Temperature controls correct?

Builder just installed Classic with separate volume and temperature controls in new shower. When volume control handle is turned, temperature control turns with it. If I hold volume control steady with one hand, I can turn temperature control separately with the other hand. Is this how it's suppose to work? I thought they moved independently so that you shut the shower off, but the temperature control stays in the same place. I really need to see a video of this working because the written info doesn't say anything about how they function, just how it's installed. Thank you.

Hi Suz, Thank you for your question. Your faucet is functioning properly. The temperature handle will also move when the volume control is moved. Once you have the temperature knob set in the desired position you can turn the volume control off and although the temperature knob moves with it when the handle is turned back on your temperature setting should return as well. i have a classic monitor 17 series and do not like the limit stop.can I replace with a different cartridge and just use a single handle control.

The Handle valve and cartridge assembly of your Delta Classic Shower T17230 can be replace with the Delta Classic 13 Series T13020 trim kit and cartridge assembly, as long as the MultiChoice Universal Rough-In valve R10000-UN was originally install in the wall. Are monitor trim kits interchangeable with old monitor versions? The one I have has a temp control on it

Thank you for your question, Jeremy! A current 17 series shower trim can be used on an older 1700 series valve, however, you will need to continue using the original RP32104 cartridge as the newer valve assemblies will not fit the 1700 series valve body. Best regards, Edward

Can you purchase this without a shower head?

I have a shower head that I like, but I'd like to upgrade the other parts of my shower (controls, handle, etc.). Is it possible to buy this unit without a shower head? Are the various parts that make up this item available separately? If not, is the shower arm a standard design so that I can attach any shower head to it? Thanks!

Hi Jay, Thank you for your question! Unfortunately, this unit is not available without the shower head. However, the shower arm has universal 1/2" threads that should work with your shower head.
