PRODUCT FEATURES
Complete the look in your bathroom with a shower from the Classic Bath Collection. Delta® showers with Monitor® pressure-balance valves are engineered to make sure you don’t experience a sudden and possibly unsafe change in water temperature as a result of running water elsewhere, such as using a dishwasher, flushing a toilet or running a washing machine. With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle — without interrupting your set temperature. You can install with confidence, knowing that Delta showers are backed by our Lifetime Limited Warranty.
  • Spray settings include: Full Body spray, Full Spray with Massage, Massaging spray, Soft Drench with Full Spray, and Pause
  • Pause feature reduces water to a trickle, giving you space for shaving, lathering and other shower tasks while maintaining your temperature settings
  • Soft, rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow you to easily wipe away calcium and lime buildup from the spray face of your shower head with the touch of a finger
  • Monitor® pressure balance valve keeps water temperature within a safe ±3.6° F (±1.7° C), helping to protect you from sudden changes in hot or cold water pressure
  • Lever handle controls on/off and adjusts volume, while the dial controls temperature
  • Trim kit only, must order MultiChoice® Universal valve rough (R10000 series) separately to complete the unit

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No hot water We installed a beautiful onyx walk in shower to assist my handicapped husband. We spent $8,000 to include a handicap seat with a stationary shower head in addition to a hand held unit .We purchased dual shower heads T17230l for wall mount in addition to a hand held T13220. These faucets have a scald guard control built in which restricts hot water. We’ve had 3 plumbers out and have been told the units are set on max heat. One head reaches a temp of 90.7o the other 90.5o. We have only been able to use this shower during the summer months of July & August due to cold water temps. Don’t buy this faucet if you like a hot shower. Very disappointed after spending so much on our beautiful handicapped assessable shower and unable to use it daily. Delta should alert buyers how restricted their scald guard units are.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Leaky shower head Until yesterday, I really liked this shower head with the 3 flow adjustments and the temperature control setting. We’ve had this installed for about 20 months, and the shower head started dripping when the shower is off. This shouldn’t happen after such a short period of time. Please help.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from OK The flange that goes on the shower wall and surrounds the controls is plastic, which looks OK but it's plastic. The shower head is not as powerful as the cheap one I replaced. It is very hard to adjust the settings, and none are very powerful. Also the bar that adjusts the volume is attached to the bar that adjusts the temp. When you rotate the bar for the volume, you also end up moving the temp, which defeats the purpose.

Is the 1700 shower trim kit available to order? It says discontinued. Can I order it?

How do you adjust the water temp on the two handle water control valve. This is a Delta 17/17T two handle.

Once you have the temperature knob set in the desired position you can turn the volume control off and although the temperature knob moves with it when the handle is turned back on your temperature setting should return as well. What is the cartridge repair kit part number

I am sorry this information was not readily available, and I am happy to help! This shower trim includes the RP46463 cartridge assembly. https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts/product/RP46463.html Recommended maintenance if the faucet leaks while off is to replace the RP46073 adapter. The classic Monitor 17 shower installed by plumber 2015. Model # is T17230-SS. RP73642 Temp knob is loose & getting worse. The RP73643 Handle (on/off & flow control also loose). How can I tighten before they fall off or break. Valve is still working.

Will a series 17 delta fit on a 1400 series diverted valve?

The T17230-SS would attach properly on a previously installed 14 series rough valve if installed after 2006, However if installed prior to 2006 it would not fit properly.
