Using advanced technology, H2Okinetic showers sculpt water into a unique wave pattern, giving you 3X the coverage of a standard shower head.* The end result is a shower that provides more coverage, more warmth and more intensity for a truly drenching shower experience. With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta tub/shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle - without interrupting your set temperature. Delta® thermostatic valves use TempAssure® Technology to protect you and your family from sudden temperature changes. This Brilliance Stainless finish has subtle, warm undertones which make it an excellent match with nickel or stainless steel and is extremely versatile, complementing nearly any look, be it traditional, transitional or contemporary. Delta WaterSense labeled faucets, showers and toilets use at least 20% less water than the industry standard—saving you money without compromising performance.

Not your box store delta
Excellent quality , for those who don’t know big box store trim kits that carry name brands are not the same and much cheaper quality than ones sourced from pro stores.

Looks awful
There are three different finishes on the handle. Looks cobbled together. The instructions are too generic, they want it to fit every model they make so you have one step with four variations depending on which model you have and it doesn't tell you. The rest is good.

Terrible finish / quality control
Ive now ordered two of these and both have a scratched, bumpy, and pitted finish on every piece. The neck extension is the biggest offender. The extremely deep scratches reveal bright brass underneath the finish, making it a total eye sore. They appear to be machine scratches - not the result of poor shipping. The only piece not scratched is the shower head, as it is plastic. All of the metal elements finished in matte black are problematic. This appears to be a factory issue as these flaws are clearly not the result of poor shipping - and since I now have two metal necks, I can see the scratches are in near identical places. And the pitting/bumps have the black finish evenly distributed over the pitts and bumps - again suggesting a factory issue. Will be returning my second today and shopping a different brand. I will say Build.com has been helpful with the returns tho!

Great output or at least you are feeling like you have full coverage. Having the set feature of where you like the temperature to be really takes the hassle out of finding the right temperature every use. Feels durable and looks classy.

a couple of tries but excellent
I got a box with a defect and had to get a new one. And then when installing, I saw that the new one had a defective handle (plastic!), which had to be replaced by Delta (was quick by mail). With those caveats, it is very nice, works well, looks as expected.

Does the shower head pivot?
It seems like a stupid Q, but I didn't see anywhere that indicated if it did. The pictures show it aiming straight down but I don't want to stand that close to the wall.

Build custom shower using Ara collection
I'm trying to build a custom shower with the ara temp assure T17T267 and a waterfall head in the same shower. I don't see a diverter that would control both the shower head and a waterfall shower. Can you tell me if I'm correct or correct me if I'm wrong?
Hi Violet, Thank you for your question. The R11000 diverter rough and T11867 diverter trim are the components that will be added to the model T17T267 and R10000 rough. The diverter will allow you to operate the showerheads individually or both at the same time.

Does the on/off function allow for a variation of the water volume (i.e. light to heavy flow) or is really just on or off?

The T17T267 dual control 17 series allows you to control the volume of water separate from the temperature. The large handle controls the amount of water you want to come and on the smaller dial on the front controls the temperature.
