Delta Ara shower handles are perfect! In chrome, simply wipe dry in one swipe with a towel. Looks terrific, works great. Had to buy a different valve to use more than one shower head, otherwise, MUST BUY!

Excellent shower control for managing temperature, pressure, and diverting. Only complaint is wish it was avaipable in Lumacoat. The currebt finish tequires constant wupe down to avoid water spots.

Thank you for your question. Two shower heads can be used with the Delta Monitor T27867-RB Integrated Valve and 3-Setting Diverter Trim. To plumb, install the Delta MultiChoice Universal R22000 Integrated Valve and Diverter Body. Plumb the two shower heads, one on each left and top port. Close the right port. Why isn't the water output as hot as the other faucets in the rest of the house when they are significantly hotter?

Thank you for your question. The Delta Angular Modern 17 Series with 3 Setting diverter Trim T27867 is not designed to function three connected units. You would need the T27967 Delta Angular Modern 17 Series with 6 Setting diverter Trim kit for your installation. The T27967 is designed for running 3 individual positions and 3 shared positions. For three individual functions, no shared functions, order
additional RP71718 (non-shared diverter cartridge).

I plan to use this for shower head and handheld. I want the handheld to be located to the right of the shower head. Will this valve trim and diverter work? And which rough-in will I need in order to be able to place the handheld to the right? Thx.

Thank you for your question. If you're using two shower components, we recommend to use the left and top ports and plug the right port. We recommend this because the 3 setting diverter cartridge will only work for the left and top ports. If the right port is used instead, the shower component that is installed in the right port will not turn on/open. The rough in valve body we recommend for the T27867 is R22000.

My plumber just installed the T27867-ss. Is it possible to have the Temperature control handle lined up with the on/off handle (pointed down in the off position)when the temperature is in the neutral position?

The integrated diverter models have what seems to me an unsightly and vulnerable black rubber ring where the main valve handle meets the escutcheon. Please explain!

The Delta Monitor T27867 Valve Trim with 3-Setting Integrated Diverter is designed with a valve sleeve in between the escutcheon and handle to prevent water from blow back of water and keep from getting behind the escutcheon plate, into the wall. When the handle is recessed far enough, you should not be able to see the valve sleeve. The photos show the handle at an angle which will show more of the valve sleeve.

Hi, I am looking to switch between tub, shower and handshower. The install guide describes using outlet 1 and 2 only. What is the third outlet for?
Thank you for your question, Roland! For a 3-Setting diverter, the right port of the diverter rough-in valve must be capped off. If you wish to use all three outlet ports, please use a trim with a 6-Setting diverter, such as the model T27967.
However, please note that we do not recommend connecting a tub spout to the diverter as the flow rate will be reduced when compared with the bottom port of an R10000 valve with a corresponding 13/14, 17, or 17T series trim. We do not make a valve with an integrated diverter that is recommended for tub spout installations.

I want to make sure I understand your response to James about having both an overhead and wall mounted showerhead. If I want both overhead and wall-mounted heads AND want to be able to use both, this product, T27867, is appropriate for that?

I want to switch between ceiling-mounted and wall-mounted shower heads. The two don't need to function simultaneously. Are the T27867 trim and R22000 diverter correct for this application? Any other valves or rough-ins required besides the shower heads?

RP71717 Two setting, Non-Shared diverter cartridge can be purchased if you do not want shared functionality however the the Three function cartridge that is included with this trim will give you the option of using either shower head independently as well as both at the same time. No other valves or parts would be needed in this case.

I bought this with Delta Faucet R22000 Multichoice Universal Rough. When installed water goes to showerhead but not to handheld. Is there a replacement cartridge I could buy?

Thank you for your question. If you're only using 2 ports, we recommend to use the top and left ports and plug the right port. If the hand shower is installed on the right port and not the left port, we recommend to change out the diverter cartridge to a 6 setting diverter, RP51919. The Delta Faucet Angular Modern Monitor® 17 Series Valve Trim With 3-Setting Integrated Diverter In Stainless MODEL#: T27867-SS is a 3-Setting diverter, the right port of the diverter rough-in valve (R22000) must be capped off. If you wish to use all three outlet ports, please use a trim with a 6-Setting diverter, such as the model T27967.
You would need the integrated diverter rough-in valve (R22000), square wall elbow, shower head, and hand shower. Please note that we do not recommend connecting a tub spout to the diverter as the flow rate will be reduced when compared with the bottom port of an R10000 valve with a corresponding trim. We do not manufacture a valve with an integrated diverter that is recommended for tub spout installations.

Is it possible to pair a 6-function diverter with this trim? I have a hand held shower, an over head shower, and a spout. I have the R22000WS installed with it.

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T27867-SS.
The included 3-function cartridge can be replaced with a 6-function cartridge to divert to three features. Or, the 6-fuction trim T27967-SS can be used.
We don't recommend connecting a tub spout to a shower diverter. It will work but the flow can be reduced compared to an R10000 series valve with a tub outlet. It may also be inconvenient to have the tub spout turned on in the shared positions. Or, the spout may drip until put in a shared position to let air into the pipe and drain the water.

Does the plumber need to install the valve perfectly level and plumb, or is there any adjustment in the trim cover? I do not want the trim cover to look crooked, so if the valve needs to be installed perfectly I need to check the plumber’s rough-in.
