Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good Quality But Box is Misleading I bought the T27967-BL thinking that it was a thermostatic valve because on the box it says Tempassure 17T, which on all of Delta’s other products mean thermostatic. After opening it I found a 17 Series pressure balance cartridge. I looked it up online and everything for that part number shows that it is a pressure balance valve even though it reads Tempassure 17T. I contacted Delta to see why the box says that when it is not. All the responses I got from Delta just included links to the T27T967-BL trim kit that included the Thermostatic cartridge “if I wanted to buy another one” even though I already spent the money on this one.

I am interested in installing a shower unit with three functions, regular shower head, shower wand and tub filler. I want to installed a non-diverter tub filler, would this be possible with the 6 setting diverter?

Thank you for your question, shegarty! Delta model T27967-SS is a six setting integrated diverter trim. The three function integrated diverter trim is model T27867-SS, however we do not recommend connecting a tub spout to a diverter trim as this will reduce the flow rate. Alternatively, you can install an R10000 and R11000 valve with corresponding trim kits. This type of installation will need a diverting tub spout and it should be connected to the bottom port of an R10000 valve to provide sufficient flow to fill a tub. Best regards, Edward

Hello the top 6 setting knob can that be turned clockwise and also counterclockwise. In the installation diagram it shows 1st position straight up and then position 2 is the immediate counterclockwise to the left .So can I go from position 1 to position6?

What is the difference in a 6 setting diverter and a 3 setting diverter? What are the settings?

Hello Robert J, Thank you for your inquiry! A 3/6 Setting diverter unit is used when you have one or two extra showering features are being added to your tub/shower or shower faucet. Showering features such as body sprays, hand shower, shower heads, etc. The 3 function diverter unit would have 2 individual positions and 1 shared position. The 6 function diverter unit would have 3 individual positions and 3 shared positions. Can you run body spray/normal head and rain head at same time

Hello, I'm looking to have a rain head, body wond and a regular shower head in my new bath room. I want to be able to have regular head and body wand on at the same time. I also want to have regular head and rain head on at the same time. Is this possible with this unit?

Can a T27967 be converted to a thermostatic just by installing a tempassure cartridge?

Whats the difference between T27967 and T27999? They are both 17 Series Valve trim with 6 setting integrated diverter. I see the handle geometry is skifhly different. ASP is considerably different. Wayne

How does this snap on to unit?

Hi Debwatson45, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T27967. This faucet trim would be installed with an R22000 valve rough. The escutcheon backplate is attached with the 4 screws provided. The escutcheon is placed over the backplate and diverter cartridge then thread the trim nut over the diverter sleeve. The back plate on my shower handles is loose. How do I tighten it? It looks similar to T27967 but I think it is Vero. My wife wants me to tighten the back plate and I don't see any set screw. Thanks

I was looking for a 3 Setting diverter, the trim I like is this Angular model. For some reason the 6 setting is cheaper than the 3 setting. could I just plug the right hole on the R22000 valve and use it as a 3 setting? Am I missing something?

I ordered a T27967-Rb from amazon on May 13th, finally have my shower tile up and installed this over the weekend. My kit came with the rp46463, a 3 way valve and not the rp51919 6-way valve. It took me a long time to find this error. Please help!
