Very solid piece. Recommend that you tip the hand shower over your tub, it will drip down into the floor otherwise. The flow straightener could aerate/soften the water flow a bit better.

Constantly Leaks
I bought this tub filler because it was moderately priced and looked very nice. It has been problematic from the start. The hand wand continues to leak even after having replaced parts in the wand on three separate occasions. It is obvious that this tub filler is defective or has a design flaw. Wish I had never bought it. My wife complains because it leaks water all over the floor when she forgets to place the hand wand in the tub while the water is running. VERY FRUSTRATING to be sent the same part for repair with no remedy.

The hand held sprayer leaks. The water volume is not adjustable, so it has to be on full stream or none. Looks nice but I am not happy with the functionality.

5 Stars for looks! 1 Star for leaking hand wand!
We purchased this because of the looks and the brand - Delta - for the quality. I should have looked at the reviews prior to buying this because of the price. Price was not an issue because we thought we were getting a quality product and have used Delta products for many years.
This was installed by a licensed plumber during a home remodel. No problems with all the other Delta products we used which were from this same line - Trinsic.
This issue is that they hand wand leaks sporadically when the tub is being filled which has led to a small lake around our tub! Is there a fix for this? Based on other reviews, it looks like I am not the only one with this problem. So . . . 5 Stars for Beauty and 1 Star for quality of this product. Average is 3 Stars but cannot recommend this to friends due to the high retail price of this product.

Start leaking blue 6 months after installation
We purchased it via Amazon last year (still under warranty) and professionally installed it with
Delta Faucet Floor-Mount Freestanding Tub Filler Rough-In Valve for Delta Freestanding Tub Fillers R4700-FLWS
It started leaking 6 months after it is installed (faucet).
And it start leaking blue water at that. Now when we use it water in bathtub is blue.

We bought this tub filler to match with Brizo Litze collection faucet and hand shower, as a cheaper alternative. We had our contractor install it and it has been working fine. We have not seen and leaks or water temperature issues so far, unlike other reviews.

Beautiful with issues
The product is elegant and fits pefect with our garden free standing soaker tub. It does leeak occassionally from the sprayer, so we do keep it in the tub, but it is never wet when we pick it up the next day. Biggest dissapointment and why I only gave 2 stars, is there is no way to adjust water temp. THe water currently is just a bit above luke warm, maknig the sprayer nossle usefull to was my hair. Hower, you can not take a bath in our soaker tub......bought and upgraded for this reason as the water is not hot nor can it be adjusted to be hot with this spray nosil. Very Very dissapointed,

Leaks
I gave 3 stars because it’s beautiful but it started leaking shortly after we got it. It has progressively gotten worse. It leaks from the wand while the water is filling the tub. It leaks from the knob that you pull to switch the water flow to the wand and it randomly drips from the spout. I have to keep those hose in the tub so the water follows the hose into the tub instead of onto the floor. We sometimes go weeks with out using it and there is always a bit of water in the tub.

What do you mean by "valve not included" on the T4759-FL? I know I need the R4700-FL to mount it to the floor, but do I also need to order a hot/cold valve (RP46074) to go inside the stand?

Thank you for your inquiry! The valve cartridge assembly RP46074 does come with the Delta Trinsic Roman Tub Trim T4759-FL. The R4700-FL does not come with the trim kit, it has to be purchased separately.

Not enough hot water- can i adjust
On the hottest setting the water is under 100 degrees, we are forced to fill a bucket in the shower to fill the tub. How can I adjust the flow? This unit was installed previous to our ownership. Thanks.
Hi John, Thank you for your question. The cartridge in the model 4759-FL is equipped with a rotational limit stop that allows you to set the max hot water temperature. Page 7 of the attached manual will show you how to make the adjustment to raise the water temperature.

I have an old house and the hot water flow is lessening now on my Delta T4759/R4700-FL. Is there a "grit" screen to clean on the tub filler like there is on my kitchen sink? If so, where is it, and how can this be accomplished? Thanks very much!
Thank you for your question, DDDD! I do apologize for any issue you may be having with this tub filler, but will be more than happy to help! There is a rotational limit stop on the cartridge, which may need to be readjusted seasonally. Run the water so that the cold water is as cold as it will get, and then run the hot water until is as hot as it will get. Pull the white Rotational Limit Stop outward and rotate. Clockwise rotation will decrease the outlet temperature, counterclockwise rotation will increase the outlet temperature.When finished, make sure that the Rotational Limit Stop is fully retracted into the seated position. Place the handle on the stem, and rotate the handle counterclockwise until the handle stops. I have included a link to the maintenance and installation sheet, for you to refer to. Dumbest question. Have the Cassidy freestanding tub filler installed and it has one handle for on/off water flow. How do I get temp control? Handle doesn’t turn any further than “water on.”

The cartridge assembly of the Delta Contemporary Floor Mount Tub Filler T4759-FL model is equipped with a rotational limit stop that allows you to set the max hot water temperature. You would push the handle away from the faucet, to turn it on, then rotate it forward or backward to adjust for hot and cold temperature.
