Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed This faucet looks so nice in my renovated bathroom but I am so disappointed at leaks constantly. The leak appears to be around the wand area and the diverter. I have tightened all connections and still had it occur. Doesn't happen all the time so gives me a false sense of security so that i don't notice it until there is water on the floor, and leaking into the ceiling below. It acts like it doesn't shut off completely.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful but leaks!! I purchased this product for a new bath renovation. After 9 long months I was finally able to use my tub. The filler filled the tub beautifully with plenty of hot water. Unfortunately the handsprayer also filled my floor. You have to put the handsprayer in the tub or your bathroom floor is filled with water as well. Now I don’t even use my tub because I don’t want to deal with the extra cleanup until I can get it repaired. It was installed by a licensed plumber. I wish I would have read ALL of the reviews before purchasing.

By the time I’ve finished filling my tub, I have a huge puddle on my floor from the wand leaking. I should have read all of the reviews before purchasing this item. It’s beautiful .... but not functional.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wand leaks We just had this tub filler installed and it looks beautiful. The product is sturdy and appears to be made well. It did take a bit to figure out the adjustments for the hot water but after reading the manual it was actually pretty easy. The problem I’m having is that when not in use- the wand leaks. It’s almost as if the valve isn’t fully closing while filling the tub. also the flow rate is quite slow. We do have a large free standing tub but it took at least 15 minutes to fill.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The Good and Bad I love the filler itself and its very solid and stable unit unlike other brand and models. The swivel is smooth and it fills the tub very rapidly. The temperature does take some work to tweek to get hot enough water. However, the handheld shower however leaks from the hose connection to the unit even when its not engaged. This totally defeats the purpose of having a free standing filler because it must be drapped into the tub or it will get all over the floor.. Please Delta fix this problem or get a solution.

Reading these reviews I see that is a common complaint. What tool do you use to open the handle to adjust the temperature? So frustrating that at this price it is not ready to use. Not sure if the plumber should have handled it or not.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty but... Well we installed this tub filler in our new home. It looks great and feels sturdy but the gallons per minute that come out is very slow. At least 15 minutes to fill. My tub takes 40 gallons. Called delta and they sent a replacement cartridge but new one is just as slow. They offer an optional high flow cartridge you have to order separately. I must not be the only customer with the problem because others have stated they needed to put in the high flow also. Deltas customer service has been great to deal with they are even sending me the high flow cartridge otherwise my star rating would have been lower. Hopefully it solves our problem.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Water does not warm EVER This is awful. I have hot water in every part of my house, and the water will not even get warm. I actually attempted to fill my tub with hot water from my kohler sink - it works fine - and dump it into the tub. Do not buy this. Regardless if you set the valve to hot, you will never get hot water from it. We got a huge commercial grade hot water tank, a recalculating pump so that I could fill a 5k tub that cannot use. Beyond unhappy.

The plumber was thrilled with the quality of the Delta faucet and the fact that they stand behind their products. The height is perfect for our large soaker tub. The hand spray has a nice long hose and works great to rinse out the bathtub. Be sure to check the adjusting rotational limit stop (water temperature) before you use it. The default setting is a low mix of hot to cold water ratio. After easily adjusting this (per the booklet instructions) we had hot water to fill the tub. Not only classic beauty and design- but reliable and functional as well. Would recommend for sure!

I have to say it looks perfect, with a bit of modern style that complements the tub and tile very well. I like the rectangular hand spray, it works great and gives you more control over where it sprays than a round one would. We got the chrome finish since we are doing a contemporary theme.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful but leaky Typical I would buy something to match my wife’s desired finish instead of reading reviews. We bought this tub filler for our master bath remodel in matte black. Build quality is amazing: big, solid, heavy. It’s the internal components that will drive you crazy. Like other reviewers on other sites, this tub filler has a leak problem. When you use the tub spigot, the hand sprayer leaks constantly. I upgraded to the higher flow rate cartridge. Fills my 7’ tub in about 6 minutes. BUT I HAVE TO PUT THE HANDSPRAYER IN THE TUB otherwise I have a bath on the floor also. Spent many phone calls to delta, replaced everything in the filler at least once and FINALLY found the problem to be the diverted holder body. For whatever reason, the small arm that holds the hand sprayer and hose caused the diverted to not close/seal fully. Problem has been solved, now I have a Frankenstein tub filler.

Installed this one and the hand shower leaks as you fill the tub so you have to leave it hanging over the tub while filling. So disappointed, this bathroom was my dream.So how do I fix it this time. Should I call the plumber to fix my brand new 1000.00 tub fill?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The worst. First off, the adjustable cartridge for the hot water basically sucks. The regular setting is cold water out of the box and installed. Even adjusted to have hot water, it doesn’t get hot enough. I understand this is for child safety reasons, but my tub is in master bathroom in a kid free zone. Secondly, this spray handle LEAKS EVERYWHERE. I never, ever use it. Yet the darn thing leaks all over my bathroom when i take a bath. In my opinion, this product has far too many issues and should be taken off the market. It’s a very expensive fixture, but it functions so horribly. So basically I have to replace my tub faucet and I’m not real happy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WATER PRESSURE TOO LOW The flow from this fixture is so low it takes FOREVER for my tub to fill up even half way. I had to pay my plumber a service call fee to make sure there was not obstruction - which there wasn't. I'm a designer and will not use Delta again.

Now trying to find the instructions and tools to make the water hotter and then ask my contractor to send someone out help me fix this. Very annoying and there needs to be BIG labels on the box telling people about this when installing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Factory temperature setting way too low Tub filler looks great but the factory setting for the temperature is way too low. It only dispenses luke warm water and you have to adjust the rotational limit stop by removing the handle which is next to impossible to do. Even the tool they provide doesn't work to get into the tiny hole to be able to turn the screw to remove it. We still have not been able to do it and we are experienced. This should not be that hard. Very disappointing after all the hard work to install this tub filler.

What do you mean by "valve not included" on the T4759-FL? I know I need the R4700-FL to mount it to the floor, but do I also need to order a hot/cold valve (RP46074) to go inside the stand?

Not enough hot water- can i adjust

On the hottest setting the water is under 100 degrees, we are forced to fill a bucket in the shower to fill the tub. How can I adjust the flow? This unit was installed previous to our ownership. Thanks.

Hi John, Thank you for your question. The cartridge in the model 4759-FL is equipped with a rotational limit stop that allows you to set the max hot water temperature. I have an old house and the hot water flow is lessening now on my Delta T4759/R4700-FL. Is there a "grit" screen to clean on the tub filler like there is on my kitchen sink? If so, where is it, and how can this be accomplished? Thanks very much!

Thank you for your question, DDDD! I do apologize for any issue you may be having with this tub filler, but will be more than happy to help! There is a rotational limit stop on the cartridge, which may need to be readjusted seasonally. Run the water so that the cold water is as cold as it will get, and then run the hot water until is as hot as it will get. Pull the white Rotational Limit Stop outward and rotate. Clockwise rotation will decrease the outlet temperature, counterclockwise rotation will increase the outlet temperature.When finished, make sure that the Rotational Limit Stop is fully retracted into the seated position. Place the handle on the stem, and rotate the handle counterclockwise until the handle stops. I have included a link to the maintenance and installation sheet, for you to refer to. Hot is Cold

We have this floor mounted faucet but when we turn it on it comes out hot first and if we keep turning it goes to cold. Is it possible that it is mounted 180 degrees out? Can we just lift It up and rotate it? It is mounted on the left side of the tub. I heard somewhere that it should Be mounted on the right side of the tub but That would reduce the design possibilities.

Dumbest question.  Have the Cassidy freestanding tub filler installed and it has one handle for on/off water flow. How do I get temp control?  Handle  doesn’t turn any further than “water on.”

can the hand shower and turn on be switched?

Hello, I was wondering if the handle to turn on the tub filer and the hand shower can be swapped around, I see in the photo that the hand shower is on the left and I need it to be on the right, is this possible?
