Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice but has plastic sprayer. Beautiful chrome faucet. Low so it doesn't show through the pass-thru into the family room. Note that the pull out spray is plastic however, not metal. I do hope that it does not scratch.

I like it because it is lightweight and the spray nozzle is so easy to use with a push of the button. Nice even spray. I highly recommend it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY THIS FAUCET! I have had this faucet for about 4 years. I do not like it and almost wish it would break so I could replace it. The sprayer is at a very odd angle. When you hold the sprayer, it so difficult to direct where you want it. I hate that when you turn the faucet off, the spray functions doesn't turn off. You have to manually turn off the sprayer. If someone uses the sprayer and forgets to turn it off prior to turning off the faucet, you will get sprayed when you turn on the faucet. This happens. because the force of the spray is very strong, at least in my house. Also, unless you seat the handle perfectly in the middle when you turn it off, the faucet doesn't turn off all the way and continues to drip until someone notices it. Wish I had heeded the warnings of reviewers before I purchases this faucet. The only thing it has going for it is that it has not broken yet.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hot water pressure very low When I push the handle to the hot water side, the hot water pressure becomes very low. It's not low in any other faucets in my house so it isn't the pressure coming from the water heater and my previous faucet hot water pressure was fine so it has to be this faucet. Not sure how to fix it so there is increased hot water pressure. It's been that way form the time I purchased it about 6 months ago.

She is regular that it has very high movement moments to both sides and you can easily chose grade of hot or cold. Delta has only like 1 inch move to both sides and you hardly fill that it moves at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid feel I've had this faucet only a couple weeks, I found the install to be simple, the supply lines were long enough, & it all went together quick & easy. the valve body is heavy enough to indicate there is actual metal in there and may last longer than the M---that it is replacing. Water pressure is fine, the spray to stream rocker switch is solid with a definite change & no dribbles. The brushed stainless finish is great & cleans well. The main valve handle is great with a short throw hot to cold & NO problem finding a the completely off spot once you get used to it, I've had light switches that are worse. Overall I think this will be a great unit that will give years of service. Not sure that the magnetic docking of the spray head is worth the extra $20., I also bought the same model without the magnetic (for another location) they seem the same.

We did personally select this one as we aren’t fans of the big farmhouse style ones. We are also having the issue with the drip upon shutoff. As mentioned previously it has to be in the exact spot to have it completely shut off. Any recommendations Delta? I do like when u shut if off the spray feature stays on when u turn it back on. Easy to clean.

The traditional faucet look fits very well with rustic cabinets! It swings out of the way for big bulky things in the sink and delivers a hefty spray.

Just like Judy22, unless it is positioned perfectly it dribbles water. This is very frustrating. Sounds like it is a Delta problem and not something our builder can fix. Is this just the way it was designed (poorly), or do I need to contact our contractor?

This one is a winner! The spot resistant finish really is. Just wipe water and spots off and you’re done. No need for harsh cleansers. Water pressure is excellent on both the regular and spray functions. Pull-out spray hose is just the right length.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Finish This faucet holds onto water spots, it does not wipe free of spots as well as my previous Delta faucet (which I think might have been brushed nickel) I purchased this style because of the height of the unit....I think it fits better in my kitchen which opens onto another room and I don’t want to see the long neck faucet popping over the low ledge behind the faucet.

#4140-DST costs more thatn #4140-TP-DST.

does the collins single handle rotate if not using the deck mount?

Can the faucet be modified for a greater gpm if I don't live in CA ?

Thank you for your question, Sandi! The Delta model 4140-DST has a flow rate of 1.80 gpm @ 60 psi, 6.8 L/min @ 414 kPa. We do not offer a way to increase the flow rate and modifying the model in any way will void the warranty as well as possibly damage this part, however, if you are getting less than 1.8 GPM, please check for debris between the sprayer and the hose. How long before replacing the DIAMOND CERAMIC CARTRIDGE? How much do the cartridge cost?
