Very disappointed and would think Delta would be ashamed to have their name on this product. A no-name faucet I have in another room feels and works better. Elderly, and after paying a plumber to install, can't afford to buy another brand and pay for another installation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Faucet of choice A nice compact faucet that looks great. The range of movement of the handle from hot to cold is very close. You have to be sure you push down the handle completely to ensure the flow is cut off. I like the long wand hose length. Lifetime warranty is great.

I spent months looking to replace a faucet that splashed a lot, measuring spout height, spout depth, etc. Had to swivel and pull out. This one is great. I like the secure click after returning the pullout to its home. Only complaint is the instructions from Delta. My husband is usually very good with all handyman type jobs but he said the directions were not clear about some key things.

Delta Faucet 4140-AR-DST - how is the faucet height measured?

An Amazon image shows 2.5" minimum to backsplash. But your spec sheet seems to say the 2.5" is to the centerline of the tube. The back of my current faucet is only 1 5/8" from the backsplash and the centerline is 2.5" from it.. Will this 4140-AR-D fit?

Can I purchase that little pop out "button" which shows red for hot and blue for cold. My husband broke or lost it when replacing the cartridge you kindly sent us some time ago and I just decided I really miss it.

my Delta 4140-ar-dst faucet was installed 11/1/23. When the control lever is moved down, into an "off" position, the faucet continues to leak/drip water.

How do I remove the handle on the 4140-AR-DST? I thought there was a set-screw under the "Hot/Cold" symbol at the base of the handle, but this protruded symbol does not seem to be removable. Thank you.

Hello Don B, Thank you for your question. I apologize for any difficulty finding this information. We are happy to help! The Delta Faucet model 4140-AR-DST Collins pull-out kitchen faucet does have a set screw located under the button on the handle. A stout toothpick or bamboo skewer can effectively work the button out. Look for the notch in the edge of the button as the focus of your prying. Can I replace the diamond seal technology with a standard o ring type unit. We are not happy with the diamond technology because it never shuts off completely, and we cannot adjust water temperature to our needs. Its either too hot or too cold.
