Which side of the rubber gasket faces up toward the sink when installed, the flat side or the ribbed side?

Just bought the Savile with Stainless Finish and was wondering what the best match in finish for the sink flange/strainer and disposal flange was and also will the sink and disposal flange fit in a Kohler Deerfield cast iron sink.

The Stainless Steel (SS) are the same for faucets and flange/strainers. I bought the trinsic faucet in champagne bronze to go in my laundry room. I need a sink flange to fit a apron front kitchen sink to match...does the brilliant brushed bronze match or is there another option for me? I do not intend to have a disposal.

The Brilliance Brushed Bronze will be a slightly darker tone than the Champagne Bronze, so the difference in finishes may be noticeable. Unfortunately, we do not carry a Kitchen Sink Flange and Strainer in the Champagne Bronze finish at this time, although we do plan to carry it in the future. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. I am not certain if this assembly will fit with your sink and drain, although we do carry a Kitchen Disposal and Flange Stopper in the Champagne Bronze finish, model 72030-CZ, if you are interested. When will this sink Flange & Strainer be available in the champagne bronze? I just bought one of your faucets with this finish. Do you recommend another drain that would go with the champagne bronze? I need a 4 1/2” drain for a sink with no disposal.

The next closest finish to the Champagne Bronze is the Brilliance Brushed Bronze finish, which is a slightly darker gold finish. I hope this information is helpful! Do you have a white sink strainer and basket? The first one I purchased (glacier Bay) cracked after installation (plastic). Now I am looking for one more durable.

I have a 3.5" drain opening on my Houzer E100 quartzone sink, will this strainer fit?  All other dimensions show to fit minus the drain opening where your specs are showing 3-3/4"?  I need this color as I have one of your faucets in the champagne bronze.
