Rated 5 out of 5 by from LED stopped working, great Delta service to fix Original post: "I like the faucet even though I've had to replace the batteries twice in a one year period. Recently the blue LED stopped working - worked fine up until about two weeks ago. When going from hot to cold the red fades out to unlit dark grey. I see that others have posted about this issue on line, but I don't see any solution. If someone in Deltaland has a suggestion I would love to hear it." Delta customer service (Brandis) and I exchanged emails troubleshooting (day after my post), Delta diagnosed the issue and sent me a replacement solenoid module and LED base. I just installed them (simple to do) - issue resolved. Great customer service and a great product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great luxury but needs fine tuning Battery life seems to last 2-3 months of use. That's 6 AA I wonder if this unit is defective to drain batteries. I see an AC plug available at $$ 50+ should be included for 500 + faucet. Solenoid failed at 2.5 years. Fortunately delta replace under warranty. I am just neautral about recommending. Appearance is attractive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Firsst one worked so Well, I’m buying another one for myt new home This faucet was installed in my previous house when this particular model of faucet had just come out (10 years a ago?). Loved everything about it! The batteries lasted about a year, and I cook ALOT everyday. The batteries were easy to change and had no issues with the box holding the batteries. I loved the strong flow of water both in the spray and regular. I also liked that I could easily control the amount of water flow, and water temperature from the handle. I also like the fact that the faucet shuts itself off after a little while to conserve water. THis feature is great if you have cats or people who don’t mind letting the water just run and run. The only negative was the blue light indicating the touch sensor feature was active went out and would only come back on for a little while right after replacing the batteries. I suspect this had to do with the amount of energy required to power the light. The absence of the light did not affect the performance of the faucet and did not bother me much. I never had issues with my faucet. I have now moved, and find cooking in my kitchen without the faucet a pain to have to mannually turn the faucet on and off, a new faucet is in my immediate future since I keep touching the faucet expecting the water to flow, but nothing comes (its manual). Please bear in mind that I cant vouch for the quality of the newer models, mine was one of the first to come out and the quality was top-notch.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Leaks I agree with other reviews that the 2 clips which hold batteries doesn’t work so I have to rubberband it although I have stopped using the feature because of frustrations with having to change batteries so often. Plus after 3 years its difficult to turn off without a slow drip for awhile which is annoying. Delta sent us a new insert to fix the problem but it didn’t do anything. I would avoid this faucet.

Can the handle be installed so it is on the left?

I have the habit of turning the water on and off with my left hand. Can this faucet be installed with the handle on the left?
Asked by: Suzy
Hi Suzy, Thank you for your question. The model 9192T-DST can be installed with the handle of the left as the spout moves a full 360 degrees. The LED indicator in the base will be facing to the back instead of to the front and the handle will work hot to the front and cold to the back. You can switch the supply lines to have cold to the front and hot to the back. Thanks, Dave

I have seen references to an optional available power cord so as to utilize this faucet without the troublesome short-lived battery. What is the part number and how can I purchase this item?

Will this work with a filtering faucet?

I just purchased the Delta Addison faucet. I currently have a filtering faucet that is seperate from my old faucet. Will I be able to use the filtering faucet with this new Delta faucet?
Asked by: mfluegeman
Thank you for your quesiton. Delta Faucet model # 9192T-DST can be used next to a filtering faucet as long as any electricity or wires that are used are not near the faucet. They could set the faucet in motion if they come in contact with each other without you touching the faucet.

When I tap the handle of my Addison it turns on (or off). When I grab the handle it does not do anything. Is it supposed to and, if so, what is the issue?

Asked by: Jerry717
Hello Jerry717, Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Addison Touch2O Kitchen Pull-Down 9192T-DST faucet is designed to recognize a touch/tap from a grab. There should be no action from the faucet, when you grab it, like swiveling the spout or adjusting the handle for water temperature. Touches and grabs are distinguished by measuring the duration of the person touching the faucet. Touches are defined as being less than 300 milliseconds, and grabs as more than 300 milliseconds. Best regards, Tanya

Turning Touch 20 Feature on and off

I have occasion to have people come over and share the kitchen while we cook together. I would like to have the flexibility to have the Touch20 available for my own use but to be able to disable it (and still, obviously, use the faucet) when I am entertaining. 1) Can you tell me how to disable the feature as needed and then to re-enable it? 2) Is there a place online that has instructions on how to disable and then re-enable the feature?
Asked by: mbabco
You can also disable it by turning the water on, and unplugging the batt pack. I had to do that to mine as I'm sick or replacing batts every 8 days, Something is clearly shorting in mine.

Spray and stream are both happening at once. How do I repair so it is either spray or stream but not both at the same time

Asked by: Ngemba
Hi Ngemba, Thank you for your question. If the water is coming out of both sprayer mode and stream mode, we recommend to first, try soaking the head in a solution of 50 percent white vinegar and 50 percent water solution. You can soak for an hour or even overnight. If this does not work, we recommend to replace the sprayer assembly. Please call our Customer Service line at 1(800)345-3358. Best Regards, Rosanna
