Nice faucet, but handle very tight
I just installed this faucet and everything seems good. The biggest problem is the handle. It is very tight to turn on and adjust the flow of water coming out. after using a week or so, my wrist hurts from adjusting. Not sure if my product is defective or it’s like this in all products.

Quality Delta faucet
Utility room remodel includes a new base cabinet with a deep undermount Kohler sink. I was looking for a quality Delta faucet with a pull down tap for ease of cleaning the sink. This Delta faucet was easy to install (okay, except for laying upside down in the cabinet to install). The Delta faucet is of good quality and I like the design with the single water temp handle. It is perfect for my use.

Great faucet, love the tap feature
So far, so good - takes a little getting used to not turning it on all the time with the lever. Tapping on and off is a great convenience and the wire under the sink is almost long enough to install the battery pack at the front of my cabinet for ease of changing batteries.

Hot water cuts out
We installed this faucet in April, but the hot water cuts out intermittently. We had the gas company come to check the hot water heater, but it's working fine and the other faucets in the house don't have any issue with hot water. We live in a place where plumbers are scarce and they don't want to deal with small issues. (We've tried.) Any thoughts on what's happening?

Disappointed
I love the look and feel of this faucet. but I have only been using it since August of 2022 and it is leaking where the two parts connect.
Please advise. Do I need a plumber to fix it?

Great Faucet, question on handle
Love the faucet, but because of our back splash, we had to face the handle forwards. Is there a way to change the alignment of the handle so warm is straight up?

High Quality Pull-Down Faucet
The Delta Essa Pull-Down Faucet 9913-DST works just as described. I reviewed many models before my decision to buy this one. Great quality including the stainless steel. Installation was not too complicated. I would recommend however, someone with a plumbing background assist you, if you have no experience installing faucets. I had a small to medium sized kitchen sink and needed a faucet that would not be too tall and large since it would be near a window. This is just the right size. Thank you Delta for providing dependable and high quality products.

Q&A
How do you remove the spray head from this faucet?
Hello,
Thank you for your question!
You will press a small button on the connector between the hose and wand which will then allow you to turn the wand counterclockwise until it fully unthreads from the hose.
Please reach out with further questions!

Handle is loose on side of faucet. How do you tighten the handle?
Hi, Jack.
Thank you for your question. The set screw on the handle for the Delta 9913-AR-DST Faucet can be tightened with a 3/32" Allen Wrench.

What is the diameter of the base? What is the diameter of the spout tube?
Hi, colln62!
Thank you for your question. The Delta 9913-DST faucet base has a diameter of 2 13/32"
(61 mm). The diameter of the spout tube is 1.18" (29.972 mm).
Best Regards,
Rosanna

The base is loose on the marble countertop, causing the handle to rotate when used. What wrench tool can I use to tighten it? I will have to reach it from underneath the sink. I do not have the tightening tool that came with it. Can I use sealant?
Thank you for your question, RobertSF! The RP60924 wrench that was included with your model is recommended however an adjustable wrench will also work to tighten the mount nut and bracket below the counter. We do not recommend applying sealant as this could make future repairs difficult. Please contact us directly if you have questions or need further assistance.

hot/cold? and direction
Does this bar faucet dispense hot and cold water? Does the lever only go in one direction or does pulling forward give hot water and pushing backwards give cold water ?
Thank you!
Thank you for your question, Linda! This faucet dispenses hot and cold water. The handle operates by tilting away from the faucet to turn on. The vertical position gives cold water and rotating the handle forward provides hot.
Best regards,
Jon

Is there a soap dispenser that looks good with this? I have a 4 hole configuration and need to fill the 4th hole...
Thank you for your question, Liz. We recommend the RP50781, RP1001, 72065T or 72055T to coordinate with the Essa collection. Here is a link to browse our complete selection of soap dispensers:

how long is the hose? Is there any reason not to use this faucet at the main kitchen sink?
Hello Plaza,
Thank you for your question. The Delta Essa Bar/Prep 9913-AR-DST model has a 62" hose assembly. This model can be used/installed as a kitchen faucet, it just smaller than the kitchen version.
Best regards,
Tanya
