Come on, Delta!!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Delta has made great strides over the past decade with some very solid innovations to their lineup. This is not one of them. 1) Orientation of the valve stems is critical. Unlike most brands that use splines on their stems that allow for handle orientation in trim-out, these are not adjustable at all. If your rough-in is 5 degrees off, your handles are going to be off too. 2) The corrugated thinwall copper mixer drops are very difficult to 90 over to the mixer T. Even at 10" o.c. a great amount of stress must be placed on the assemblies. 3). The directions say that all three deck holes should be drill at 2". This is not true for the filler spout hole. Glad we checked.

Works well. I chose to use shark bite fittings in lieu of sweating, but it still works fine with no leaks. It'd be 5 stars if they put screw fittings on the ends so you do not have to sweat or find fittings.

Not easy for non-professionals
My husband & I tackled the Leland sink sets in our bathroom first, so thought the tub install would be just as easy. We are not professional plumbing installers, and found this set-up hard to work with in the space under the tub.
We were eventually successful, but it took hours longer than we anticipated.

I'm attempting to install the Delta Windemere Roman Tub faucet (BT2796-SS) and need to know if I need the R2700 or R2707 rough in valve kit. Thanks, TKK

My hot water valve appears to be siphoning water from the cold side since the water temp never gets as hot as the other faucets in the house. Is this possible, if so how can I correct it?
I'm sorry for any inconvenience, Glenn! This model is not designed to mix the water or allow water to flow through the unit when it is off. When only the hot handle is on, the temperature of the water will be the exact same as what is provided by the hot water supply. We recommend checking for plumbing related issues elsewhere in the home or contacting a plumber.

I have a T2705 Two Handle Roman Tub faucet and the cold water faucet suddenly got very hard to turn off and on. What is wrong?

Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your Delta faucet. We do recommend to flush the line and to make sure no debris is stuck inside of the valve body. If this does not fix the issue, we recommend to replace the stem unit assembly, RP24096:

Thank you for your question. If your municipality requires a scald guard on your roman tub, we recommend using Delta Faucet model # R2570-MIXLF on the hot side of your faucet.

We installed the faucets, but they both turn clockwise. Thus, the cold turns on to the front, but the hot turns on to the back. What did we do wrong? Is it an easy fix?

Thank you for your question. Please verify that the hot and cold supplies are turned off before disassembling the faucet. For both the hot and cold valve, install the stem with the permanent white stop on the right side. The removable 1/4 turn stop should be installed in the back on the cold side and in the front on the hot side. Next, tighten down the bonnet nut and rotate the brass stem so that the flat side is facing away from the spout (off position) and attach the handle.

If my handles are facing incorrectly on finish what can I do to fix this? I.e. I have to have the handles face inward towards the spout to keep the water from running.

Please verify that the hot and cold supplies are turned off before disassembling the faucet. Remove the handles and unscrew the bonnet nut off of the valve stem. Do you have a valve and faucet for a tub deck mount 3 hole installation that will fit on holes that are only 6 inches apart? The farthest holes (handles) are 6 inches apart meaning that each hole is only 3 inches from the next measured to center.
