I have a Delta R2707 and when installed on the tub the handles open a full 180 degrees, is this correct? I thought they should only open 90 degrees? Please let me know. Thank you.

Hi, Craig! Thank you for your question. The Delta R2707-S valve stem unit assembly does not include a 1/4 turn stop that stops the handle at 90 degrees. Because of this, the handle will turn 180 degrees. Best Regards, Rosanna

We had a R2707 valve installed with a T2739 and without the 1/4 stops(did not come with valve) The handles cant turn a full 1/2 turn to reach full flow. This combo needs to be full open at 1/4 turn. What am I missing?

My hot water side has almost no pressure all of a sudden. I assume either valve has gone bad or there is a blockage in the line. What part number is the replacement valve incase that is the issue?

Will this install with pex pipe an fitting

Hi Larry, thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! You can use R2707 to connect to PEX, however, this model is used if you are soldering. We recommend using our R2707-PX or R2707-MF model if you are connecting to PEX tubing. R2707-PX uses a crimp connection and our R2707-MF uses a cold expansion connection. I have this installed but having a real hard time finding compatible bronze Handel's to work with these. Wated the old fashoned cross handel design. Have some that are rather heavy and the inside FIXTURE THAT'S MADE OF PLASTIC, I think is weak.

Wjhat's the flow rate?

Hi Ambro, Thank you for your question! The Delta Roman Tub Rough-In R2707 valve has not been rated for a specific flow rate. It does not have flow restrictor devices in the valve, so the flow rate will be determined by the pressure, plumbing fittings and pipe configuration. I got one of these only needing the brass/copper fitting for the filler tube to set on. In this kit they come as one unit. I dont have access to the pipes in the rental house im working on so I cannon install it as a unit. Can I get just the piece I need?

customer wanted this mounted on a thin fiberglass part of tub. maybe 1/4 in thick fiberglass. looks like it'll be too thin to mount right without it cracking or not fitting . shouldn't it be a little thicker to mount on? thanks for the help

If it's possible to reinforce the area, a standard installation can be used up to 2-1/2". Purchased R2707 rough-in kit. Video showed hot handle turning 90° counterclockwise to full on, & cold turning 90° clockwise to full on (both faucets face into tub when on).  These valves both turn clockwise 180° to full on. How can I match video?

can you change the direction of the faucet handles due to wall interference

The stems should be oriented so that the stops point to the right.
