By the end of the day, we just started cutting pieces off and soldering on different parts that would fit in order to stop the leak. I think it would be cheaper to pay someone to custom make the part from scratch than to order this and then spend all day trying to figure out how to make it stop leaking. Any place there could have been a leak, there was.

After installation the plumber and I realized the handles (valves) turn a half turn rather than a quarter, as specified. So now my handles interfere with each other. Plus, the diverter will not allow the hand held shower to come on unless there is a lot of water pressure and the hand held shower will not cut off unless the water is turned off. It cannot be operated with the plunger behind the spout.

Is this the correct kit to use when mounting to the tub rather than the deck?

I am looking at purchasing the T4751SS Dryden roman tub faucet with hand shower. To complete the rough ins it is my understanding that I need the R4707 rough in kit. Will this work for mounting to the tub rather than the deck. Also, is there an additional valve that needs to be purchased and if so what is the model number. Thanks!

Minimum Spread

I have am looking for appropriate deck mount faucet for a Kohler Sunstruck freestanding tub. From the tub measurements the space available on the deck is 9 13/16 "" wide. It looks to me that the roughin diagram requires a minimum space of 10-12" to install this rough in. Is that accurate?

Hi Thomas, Thank you for your question. We do not offer a roman tub faucet with hand shower that will fit in a 9-13/16" space. What if my tub deck is thick?

Im using the Delta Leland Venetian T2775 faucet on my tub deck. My deck before tile and backer board is 3 inches thick(high). Is there a rough in valve that will work with this faucet and tub deck? My backerboard is going to be 1/2 inch thick and the tile is an additional 1/4 inch thick.

Thank you for your question. The maximum deck thickness for Delta Faucet model # R4707 is 2 1/2 inches. Since you say that your tile is thicker than that, we recommend installing before you mud and tile.

Do you have an extension kit for mounting on a 2 3/4" thick counter top?

what size holes to drill in the tub surround deck to install the 4092 rough in kit for a roman tub faucet 4792

the directions say 1 1/2' for standard and 2" for thick tile... how do you tell the difference? I have a tile deck, but all of the rough parts look like they fit in 1 1/2'... I am confused and do not want to drill the wrong size holes through my tile and deck. Thank you.

What is the flow rate for this valve?

Use with PEX supply lines

My housed is being re-plumbed with PEX supply lines. A plumber will be installing new bath fixtures including deck mount tub faucet. Can R4707 be used for roman tub faucet with handshower or do I have to find model R4707-PX?

Have roman tub filler with sprayer. Lift rod no longer raises diverter. Removed the rod and threads look ok. assume diverter valve is stripped. Talked with customer service and they are sending new one. How do I replace. Does it just screw out?

does this come with an anti-scald valve?

My plumber is telling me if I have a handshower in the tub I am required to have an anti scald valve- does this have the anti-scald feature required? If not, please let me know what part number is needed to satisfy this requirement.

Plumber accidentally installed one of the handle sides backwards so the handle spins outwards instead of inwards. Can I just remove and flip the cartridge around?

The hand shower diverter "pull up" will not stay attached. The set screw, no matter how tight, if will pop off after one or two pulls. What can I do to fix this? This was purchased in 2017, and has not been any trouble until this year.

Can you please provide information how this can be adjusted above the deck once installed? The handles point the wrong way and the plumber needs to be able to adjust the lever placement above deck now that it is installed without access below.
