Rated 1 out of 5 by from The worst faucet we have ever owned. Broken down multiple times. As we bought matching everything in our bathroom, I have no choice but to keep buying the parts and repair it. The parts are not cheap and every single one of them were replaced within two years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and Functional I have purchased 4 of these faucets for my bathrooms. I've had 3 of them for more than a year now. I bought the 4th recently for another bathroom. They look great and work very well. I had all of them professionally installed by a plumber. They arrived super fast, within 24 hours after being ordered. They fit well with different decor styles and are easy to use and keep clean. Definitely would recommend this faucet. I'm very happy with it.

The Delta rep that I spoke with was very helpful and appologized. The parts were sent to me withn a few days. But I still have to do the work on faucets that were not cheep to purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta customer service worked great I was about to replace the entire faucet because that is what the plumber recommended. I called Delta and they sent me new cartridges. I watched the Delta video and replaced the cartridges. No more leaks and no expensive repair bill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powder room looks amazing Awesome and easy to assemble
Date published: 2025-02-19
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not hygienic This faucet has a design flaw. You are supposed to tighten screws inside the handles with an L-shaped Allen key. But they didn’t provide anything to close the hole, so water enters inside the handles. It would not be hygienic as dirty standing water remains inside the levers.

Q&A

When I pull the stopper handle up to seal the basil for filling it goes back down and the stopper remains in the up position. How do I fix the problem?

Asked by: Marsh
Hello Marsh, thank you for your question regarding 3538-SSMPU-DST! We recommend using plumbers tape where this assembly screws onto the tailpiece as instructions suggest (page 10, step C) on the Maintenance and Installation manual below. We advise putting the thread seat tape on clockwise and no more than wrapping it three times around. If you need further assistance, please feel free to contact us directly at customerservice@deltafaucet.com. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/109016%20Rev%20A.pdf Please feel free to contact us with any questions or for further assistance. Will the screw holes on the sides of the handles come with a cover or plug? I've noticed that some of your other faucets have the holes covered but all of the pictures I've seen of the Lahara show the holes uncovered.

Love the look of my faucets, but they squeak when the levers are turned. What is the fix for this? Thanks!

Asked by: Barb
Hi Barb, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 3538-MPU-DST Lahara® Two Handle Widespread Bathroom Faucet In Chrome. I apologize that the handles squeak. I know that can be frustrating. We are happy to help! The issue may be caused by water debris trapped in the valves. To flush the faucet, Turn off the water supply to both hot and cold and remove all internal components in the handles. Turn water supplies back on and let run for 30-60 seconds, using an upside-down bucket or large container to deflect the water into the sink. Turn water supplies off again and reassemble the faucet. Please reach out if you have any questions or need additional assistance. We appreciate your business and look forward to continuing to serve you!
