Installation can be a bit tricky so make sure to watch lots of youtube instructional videos on how to do it. The build quality is great. Feels solid in your hands. Nothing but great things to say about this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Faucet I had this last month and I am in love with it! The design is perfect, the water flows smoothly and I love the shiny finish. The only thing I don’t like about it is that, the instructions could be clear especially for someone who had never had an experience putting the faucet before and also please check your sink hose if it will match because ours didn’t and we have to replace it with a new one but other than that this is still a great product and would recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very sleek design Overall I am happy with this faucet. There are a couple things that I would tweak - however it's a great faucet. It looks exactly as pictured. Installation was easy enough to understand. There were a couple of steps in the instructions that were already completed within the handles. Since it's 3-hole there are a few extra steps compared to a single-hole faucet. Make sure to purchase new water lines and new stops prior to installing this (or any) faucet. This is wide-set, but I did use it on my pedestal sink (that's not wide-set) without any issues where it wouldn't fit. I think that it was actually easier on my pedestal sink since there is not any cabinets in the way of work and I was able to take my sink off of the pedestal to install the faucet. The only thing that could be improved is that when you align and tighten the handles from underneath, they do not get all the way tight to the point of not moving at all. They don't freely move around, but if you put pressure on them and try to move them, they move. The faucet is complete with the included drain assembly that works perfectly - I really like the drain. One small issue is that when I have the water on - it does come out fast and splashes up out of the sink. This could be because of the depth of my sink, but maybe not. All-in-all it's a great faucet and really makes my bathroom look new.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dumbest Drain Design Ever I love the looks and functionality of this faucet set. We installed two in our master bath and they look terrific! The problem however, is with the drain. You can only push it down to close and re-open. The issue is that when the plug sticks down due to stickiness in the drain there is no way to pull it back up. I had to completely remove the trap to pust it up with the handle of a hammer to open it. Since I quit closing it after that day the drain is now completely stuck in the "up" position.

It splashes and gets me wet. I read reviews about this, but still chose to buy and install these. I do not recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased and had installed this faucet in 2016 and after two years the finish started to corrode and pit. I contacted Delta and at first they said that it was what I used to clean it that corroded the faucet. I was using a Scrubbing Bubbles and a soft cloth. After sending them extensive proof of the finish they sent me replacement handles. I had to pay a plumber to install the new handles. I’ve been cleaning it with vinegar and water and it pitted again It’s only been three years. i will never buy a delta faucet again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Delta Vero 3553 I am an Interior Designer and this product is stunning! However, due to the design of the sink used (a Kohler product), the water splashes everywhere. I would advise future consumers to buy a deep sink bowl without a gradual incline. If Delta would adjust the angle on the faucet, ever so slightly, this would not happen.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful, but the finish doesn't last I love the color and style of this faucet! We bought the whole line for our tub/shower, sink, and even toilet handle. We have it in our guest bathroom, which doesn't get a ton of use...sadly the finish on the faucet is fading, which takes away from the original luxe look. I would recommend, but maybe not in champagne bronze. :(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Set screw in handle problem The 3553LF is a beautiful tub faucet assembly but the handles keep pulling off no matter how tight the set screw is set! Maybe a part is missing? There is a screw hole in the top of the stem; is it there for a reason ? The builder didn’t leave me the installation instructions, so I don’t know if something is missing.

We now have to leave some water running to retain water level Also, 2 of the 4 handles go past the “off” position and go behind where they are supposed to go. The stop doesn’t work

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stylish but Splashes Users We purchased two of the vero faucet wide spread vanity champagne bronze faucets for our master bath remodel. They are very design conscious and look wonderful, but we need lobster bibs to use them. The water stream hits the drain cap and splashes absolutely everywhere, so that we walk away soaked. I am only relieved I didn't purchase these for the guest bath or powder room. If there's a "fix" for this, please share! Recommend it for looks, but otherwise, we'll need to reduce star rating.

The tub is designed for a deck mount and this faucet set is perfect. The faucet itself is designed to go up and then out so it takes up a little less space than those Roman tub sets that extend way into the tub. It’s visually beautiful and delivers a nice stream of water. Our installer was VERY impressed with the quality and ease of installation.

It looks great but we get splashed and my husband likes to shave in the sink and when you push down the drain stopper, it doesn't hold the water. It's a slow drain...we didn't realize it when we purchased. It is a chore to always wipe dry to keep it looking clean & shining each time you use it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Looks good but the worst purchase of my life I bought 3 of these faucets and one for our tub. They have never been anything except a problem. I have had a Delta rep come out and he couldn't figure out the problem with them. The handles do NOT stop where they should and go backwards with the water still running. On top of that even the base doesn't stay in place and rotates on the sink. This happens with all of these faucets. Do your self a favor and stay far away from these.

Also absolutely no problem with the aerator mentioned in some of the reviews—water comes out in a nice ribbon stream. Very attractive— just noticed this faucet was featured in a cCarte and Barrel ad for bathroom towels etc.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 3553LF water splashes outside the sink Water splashing on your clothes and floor while in use. Call Delta they sent out aerator to replace, its round and will not fit. Contractor that installed faucet came out and turn down the water to a point its very low and it still splash hitting my stopper. The other option use one side and get less water splashing on clothes and floor. Delta rep was blaming my sink not being deep enough, after I mentioned the sink is standard size and I have three sinks with same size and the other two has no problems with splashing and I have Delta faucets on both. Its the faucet in my one bathroom that either is not designed properly possibly the spout maybe it should be arch a little more outward.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A Pretty Faucet But... We bought this faucet 2 years ago during a bathroom remodel. I love the design BUT already the chrome is bubbling in spots on the bases and corroding. I do not use harsh chemicals or scouring powder/pad when cleaning it so not sure why this is doing it. I'm rather disappointed to say the least considering the price.

It does shut off at the mid point but the actuall levers can do a 360 degree turn. Is this how it should be? This is the only reason why I did not give it 5 stars. Please help!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice looking contemporary fixtures [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had our plumber install this, so can't speak to installation except to say that for our plumber it went smoothly. The finished look is good and the fixtures appear to be of solid quality that will last a long time. These were on the spendy side for us, but the end look makes me think it was money well spent. My one concern is the square bases of each of the fixtures. Even though they are tightly secured to the sink, even the slightest movement will make them look off kilter from each other. This is a problem where the base is angular rather than the more typical round faucet bases. When the round ones move slightly on top of the sink, you don't notice it. But when it's square it becomes almost impossible for it to ever properly line up and I find myself constantly adjusting all the angles on the faucet lever and the bases to get them to look ok. It's pretty frustrating and I'm not sure how to fix it other than removing the fixtures and having our plumber superglue them in place (more $$). Also, the lever handles are super hard to get in a line too, so that one is either too far back or too far forward to be 'square.' The fixtures themselves are really nice though, it's just something to bear in mind for installation. And of course, being chrome, they only look good when polished and even the slightest water splash will make them look dirty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PRICEY BUT WORTH IT ive had these only a month or so.. the features are great, compliments any remodel, looks great with granite.. easy to clean simple wipe off and they seemed to maintain there shine.. they were pricey.. but once installed.. you wont be concerned with price.. they look great.. would buy again. then on top of that you cant be a lifetime warranty they offer

Can I use this on my tub?

What is the maximum deck thickness for installation?

What is the maximum deck thickness for installation? The spec sheet says 1 1/8" but I saw a post that this had been increased recently to accommodate thicker granite installations?
