Pop-up drain leaked. Avoid pop-up drains!
Beautiful handle and spout but the pop-up drain leaked. I ended up using a Kohler clicker drain instead. Go with a clicker drain!!!!

Black gasket shows under faucet
I bought this faucet in two different finishes for four different bathrooms and I am having the same issue on all of them. There’s a black plastic piece that delta claims should fit inside the faucet but does not and can not physically fit inside . It shows on all of them when installed. It does not show this in any of the photos online and it makes the faucet looks cheap.

Handle started to chip
I bought this about 10 months ago for our bathroom renovation. The contractor suggested to buy Delta products. So we bought everything Delta. The product line is beautiful.
But I noticed today that the handle is chipping on its base and the paint is coming off. I thought this would be an easy fix to call Delta. But they gave me such a hard time and I comply with everything, sending photos, sending invoice.
But I was denied because it was bought on Ebay. They say they never sell on Ebay, but it is untrue they have some products sold on Ebay. I don't get why a $400 faucet would chip like that, and how a company like Delta wouldn't stand behind their products by using some exceptions in their "lifetime" limited warranty. It was brand new, unopened box when I purchased this.
I had in the past done a warranty claim from another company for our kitchen faucet, and within 5 minutes without any photo they sent a new part. Delta quality is no longer viable, terrible customer service.

Brushed Stainless
The brushed stainless finish shows every water mark, I am constantly cleaning it. It is worse than polished chrome. Choose this finish because I was told it was comparable to brushed nickel.

Poor quality supply lines
Came with plastic supply lines that couldn’t be removed to change to higher quality. The description wasn’t clear that supply lines were included and were not removable. Due to the vanity style the grayish supply lines would show and were rather unattractive. Had to return.

Contemporary Update
I really love this faucet! It's a nice contemporary update to my half bath. It does show water spots easily so I would not recommend for a full bath that gets used frequently (teeth brushing, etc.). It blends great with other brushed gold finishes which is why I chose the Champagne Bronze finish from Delta. If you're looking to update other mirrors/fixtures with spray paint, highly recommend Satin Bronze Metallic paint from Rustoleum.

does this particular faucet have a plastic or brass rough valve?
Thank you for your question, MamaEE! Model 3559-CZMPU-DST uses both metallic and non-metallic components to ensure the longest lasting, highest grade product possible. The valve itself will be metallic however inside the valve we use Pex waterways so that at no time will water ever come into contact with metal. Hi, I have just purchased this faucet, the supply lines are too long & I have an exposed vanity (planning on installing the decorative covers). Is there a way to shorten the supply lines?

Thank you for your inquiry! The supply lines of the Delta Trinsic Lavatory 3559-CZMPU-DST faucet can be Looped with a standard connection install or a Custom Cutting to Fit connection install. We somehow lost 1 of the faucet handles. Are we able to special order a replacement handle? If so, do you have the part number?

Do the matte black faucets have to have the red and blue dots on them or are those optional? Many of them completely ruin the design.

I don't have the 2.5 inches clearance to backsplach. More like 1.5 inches. Is there another plug I can substitute (chrome) that does not require a drain pull lever? Or does Delta make widespread faucets requiring less clearance?

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, there is not a drain plug that can be substituted for the lift rod for this faucet. We recommend to clearance to back splash for the installation above the sink as well as installation below the sink.

We are having an issue getting the handles to sit flush on the base. It seems like they won’t push down completely leaving a visible gap btw the bottom of the handle & base. We received a replacement set of handles, but has same result. Help!

Does the handle have 2-finishes?
It appears from the pictures that there are 2 finishes - almost a matte finish around the temperature dot -- or is it solid polished chrome?
