My Dryden T 14251 ss shower backplate has water spots. Installed about 2 months ago. What can I do to clean it?

Hi, Jep12! Thanks for your question. Water spots can form when water is allowed to evaporate on the product. We recommend blotting the surface dry after use to help prevent this from happening. Water spots can be easily cleaned using a rag with a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution. Is the showerhead fixed or does it tilt up/down?

Hello JL, Thank you for your question on the Delta Dryden Monitor 14 Series Shower Trim. I would love to help you with this question! This showerhead has a ball socket that connects it to the shower arm. This ball socket should allow your showerhead to swivel in all directions under normal operation. replacing old delta monitor

i have an old brass delta monitor in my shower now...can i buy just the trim package and not the value and just use the existing value? does this come with a new catridge?

Hi hellothere, Thank you for your question. If you have a 1300/1400 series shower, you can use this trim kit with the existing valve. However, you will need to use the original cartridge, or an RP19804, rather than the cartridge that comes with the trim kit. Thanks, Jon

I would like to have a handheld shower to go along with the spotless stainless color.  Can you recommend one?

Thank you for your question, Anita! The Dryden Collection does offer a hand shower in the SpotShield Stainless finish as part number RP52589SP however this is technically meant for a Roman Tub model. This can attach to any of our hand shower hoses and would fit in our hand shower mounts but does have a longer reach than a standard hand shower due to the angle. This is the only hand shower we currently offer in a SpotShield Stainless finish. Best regards, Edward

What size allen wrench is required to attach/remove the Dryden shower handle? The manual does not specify.

I have a two-year old Dryden shower set that has started leaking significantly at the shower head. I need to know what size allen wrench to use to remove the handle so that I can get at the valve cartridge. Thanks, dm

What is the drop in inches from the top of pipe to shower head?  Going into our new house and I’m 6’3” Need to know how high the plumbing needs to be.  Thanks Troy

Thank you for your question, Troy! The center of the shower head will be approximately 4"-5" below the center of the shower arm connection in the wall. We recommend installing it so that the shower head is 2"-3" above the tallest person in the home. Best regards, Jon

Can this shower head be connected to a ceiling mount shower arm?

Hello weiss79, You should be able to connect this shower head to any shower arm with 1/2" IPS threads. It should work on a ceiling mount shower arm if it has the same threads.
