Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good with a few exceptions. Nice looking, seems to be of good quality. The lever is very touchy, could get bumped easily and change your temp on you. I got the brushed steel finish, it does seem to show every spot. It’s almost a matte finish. Easy to install except the showerhead gasket gave me some trouble.

But the water os SO HOT. we’ve tried literally everything from you tube to changing our water heater settings. So disappointed.

I would like to have a handheld shower to go along with the spotless stainless color.  Can you recommend one?

Thank you for your question, Anita! The Dryden Collection does offer a hand shower in the SpotShield Stainless finish as part number RP52589SP however this is technically meant for a Roman Tub model. This can attach to any of our hand shower hoses and would fit in our hand shower mounts but does have a longer reach than a standard hand shower due to the angle. This is the only hand shower we currently offer in a SpotShield Stainless finish. Best regards, Edward

My Dryden T 14251 ss shower backplate has water spots. Installed about 2 months ago. What can I do to clean it?

Hi, Jep12! Thanks for your question. Water spots can form when water is allowed to evaporate on the product. We recommend blotting the surface dry after use to help prevent this from happening. Water spots can be easily cleaned using a rag with a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution. What is the drop in inches from the top of pipe to shower head?  Going into our new house and I’m 6’3” Need to know how high the plumbing needs to be.  Thanks Troy

Thank you for your question, Troy! The center of the shower head will be approximately 4"-5" below the center of the shower arm connection in the wall. We recommend installing it so that the shower head is 2"-3" above the tallest person in the home. Best regards, Jon

Need to buy anything else if replacing an old 1300/1400 Monitor Series?

I am replacing an old 1300 or 1400 Monitor series. Do I need to buy anything other than this trim kit? Do I need a new rough in, cartridge, or anything else at all, or can I simply take off the old and screw on the new? Thanks!

Hi Dan, Thank you for your question! This trim should work with an existing 1300/1400 shower valve. However, you will need to use the original cartridge rather than the one that comes with the kit. Best regards, Jon

Delta T14251 sits too close to the wall. Will it connect to the Delta RP61273CZ Addison 15-Inch Shower Arm?

How to clean the holes in my model 14251 shower head holes that clog?

is there a difference between polished nickel and SS finish?

RE: Dryden Monitor 14 Series Shower installed Feb 2019. When shower on, water drips from the trim around the on/off lever. When shower off, no water drips anywhere. Is the leak coming from the cartridge? Or should I be concerned?

The shower head is leaking from the trim piece in between the head cover and back of head assembly. Drip leak when shower is off. Purchased August 13, 2020.
