My mom visits frequently and loves a shower head with handheld so I bought her the shower head she liked and needed just the controls and arm. This did the trick. I gave it 4 vs 5 stars because the valve cartridge was dripping and I had to replace it, but Delta sent me a new one immediately and it worked. Overall, great value for the money and especially nice if you have a shower head you already love.

Q&A

I installed T14259-LHD Shower Trim and R10000IPWS Valve Multichoice. There doesn't seem to be a way to secure the escutcheon so water can't get behind it.Adjusting the sleave doesn't help.

I'm installing this trim with all pex, shower only. Would a R10000-PFS-PX valve work?

How do I increase the temperature? My shower is not getting hot.

Hi Airmig1, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T14259-BLLHD. The maximum temperature is set by the rotational limit stop in the shower handle. Loosen the handle set screw to remove the handle and turn the limit stop counterclockwise to increase the maximum temperature. How do you remove the set screw plug button?  I want to adjust the temperature but can’t seem to get the button off that covers the set screw.

The T14259-BLLHD set screw cover can be removed by using a small toll with a point, tweezers, pointed nail file, or your finger nail may even pop it out. I want to add a second shower wand to this system. Do I need R11000 3 port diverted? Then do I need a different mixing valve? Should be so simple, but I’ve spent days trying to figure all of the parts I need to simply install a Trinsic shower & handheld.
