Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hmm, not so happy. We have always been pleased with Delta product. We have 2 of their touch activated faucets and absolutely love them. This valve however not so much. We installed this shower valve quite a while ago. 2 weeks after using it, we had to start wiggling the handle at the set point to get the right temperature. We have put up with it for quite a while but it has become a constant frustration every time we shower. I am just about to install a similar valve in a new shower, but with separate controls for temperature and pressure. I hoping it performs better.

The handheld shower is great for bathing my child and also rinsing the shower/tub. I do notice the water temp can vary a bit, which might be a plumbing issue rather than a product problem.

We put the polished chrome in our master and the stainless in our guest bath and love the look of both styles. The quality of the Delta product is superb and the service that we received from Build.com was great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great replacement of existing shower fixtures The only issue I had was with the cartridge. The cartridge that came in the box didn't work my existing valve. I had to buy a replacement cartridge for that specific valve. What I received in my order was fine and my issue was outlined in the instructions. Just wish I knew this when I ordered. I feel that was my inexperience. Otherwise this is great and looks good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from In for the long haul I bought this to replace a Delta tub faucet that lasted over 32 years and still did not leak. The only reason I replaced it was due to cosmetic changes. So after 32 years, why would I want to switch horses? Also my plumber recommends Delta. We love the finish and looks of the Lahara line, Champagne Bronze. It sort of looks like antique brass. We also switched out the sink faucets with Delta Lahara faucets and they work well.

All other Delta Lahara items high quality metal, including Roman Tub Filler. This Tub/shower Lahara has a plastic tub spout, brass handle and brass shower head.

Can I replace the diverter on the tub spout? Model number is RP51303RB

What is the flow rate of the water coming out of the tub spout @ 50 psi?

Hello Denny H, Thank you for your question. The tub spout port of the Delta Lahara 14 Series Tub/Shower T14438 unit has a maximum flow rate of 8.6 gpm @60 PSI for the R10000-UNBX rough in, however, this means the actual flow rate will depend on the pressure coming into the home. Best regards, Tanya

replacing a chrome 1400 series plate and want to be assured that tile work is not needed

Can the pull diverter spout that comes with the 14438RB be installed directly to 1/2” copper pipe (not threaded) by using the optional RP33794 Tub Spout Adapter for Slip-On Diverter?

Is the watersaver flow cartridge changeable to one that allows more flow?

Dear Dryrunner, Thank you for your inquiry! The 1.75 gpm @ 80 psi flow rate of the Delta Lahara 14 Series Tub/Shower T14438 unit is in regards to the shower head, not the cartridge assembly. Model T14438-SS Shower head says it has 5 spray settings. I have the shower head in front of me but can't see how to change to each setting. How do you change settings?
