Monitor pressure balance valve keeps water temperature within a safe ± 3.6⁰ F (± 2.0⁰ C), helping to protect you from sudden changes in hot or cold water pressure

  • Trim kit only, must order MultiChoice Universal rough-in separately to complete the unit

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Repeat Buyer so it Must be Good! Second bathroom remodel using this series and it works really well. Very happy with the fit, finish and the shower water flow. Tub filler seems a bit light on the tub fill rate but could just be the size of the new tub. Much larger than the previous. There are some screws to adjust behind the trim plate so maybe a visit to the operating instructs are in order as the default may be turned down. Cannot speak highly enough of this Delta faucet series.

What is the flow rate of the water coming out of the tub spout @ 50 psi?

Hello Denny H, Thank you for your question. The tub spout port of the Delta Lahara 14 Series Tub/Shower T14438 unit has a maximum flow rate of 8.6 gpm @60 PSI for the R10000-UNBX rough in, however, this means the actual flow rate will depend on the pressure coming into the home. Best regards, Tanya

Can the pull diverter spout that comes with the 14438RB be installed directly to 1/2” copper pipe (not threaded) by using the optional RP33794 Tub Spout Adapter for Slip-On Diverter?

Is the watersaver flow cartridge changeable to one that allows more flow?

Dear Dryrunner, Thank you for your inquiry! The 1.75 gpm @ 80 psi flow rate of the Delta Lahara 14 Series Tub/Shower T14438 unit is in regards to the shower head, not the cartridge assembly. Can I replace the diverter on the tub spout? Model number is RP51303RB

what is the width of the valve plate model T14438

replacing a chrome 1400 series plate and want to be assured that tile work is not needed

The connections have ½" MPT threads, and will also suit nominal ½" hard copper, correct? Also: the square frame around the valve is strictly for mounting the valve and has nothing to do with the wall opening, correct? What parts are plastic if any?

Thank you for your questions 1940LaSalle. The tub spout can be installed by sweat onto 1/2" C.W.T. or thread onto 1/2" IPS. The T14438 does not include a valve body. The square plaster guard on the R10000 valve body can be removed but is helpful to position the valve. The tub spout and showerhead include non-metallic parts. Best regards, Bryan
