Rated 5 out of 5 by from Repeat Buyer so it Must be Good! Second bathroom remodel using this series and it works really well. Very happy with the fit, finish and the shower water flow. Tub filler seems a bit light on the tub fill rate but could just be the size of the new tub. Much larger than the previous. There are some screws to adjust behind the trim plate so maybe a visit to the operating instructs are in order as the default may be turned down. Cannot speak highly enough of this Delta faucet series.

What parts of this trim kit are plastic, if any?

The showerhead and tub spout are non-metallic to ensure a long-lasting, high-quality product while maintaining safety control for the various temperatures of water that go through the product. With any showerhead or hand shower, for example, the part of the faucet that you would grab onto is typically made of plastic or a plastic-mixture, as metal is heavier, susceptible to corrosion and retains heat. We had bought this faucet a couple years ago. I would like to know if this can be used in just a shower setting and not use the tud spout?

Is the showerhead designed to completely stop water (when only shut off at the shower head- valve is still on) in the pause position?

Hi, we have a Lahara 14 tub shower combo. The water temperature isn't very hot though the water heater supplies very hot water. How do I adjust the R1000 Universal fitting valve to allow more hot water in?

Hello Brian, Thank you for contacting us. I apologize for the low water temperature you are experiencing with your Delta Faucet model T14438 Lahara® Monitor® 14 Series Tub & Shower Trim In Chrome. We realize that can be very frustrating and I am happy to assist you! We thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. The most common cause of a low flow rate is debris. The best way to clear any debris is to flush the supply lines. To do this, turn off the water supplies, remove the cartridge, and turn the supplies back on for one minute. Please make sure that you are getting good flow through both the hot and cold sides while flushing. You can also shake the cartridge back and forth to make sure the back half of the cartridge rattles. This means that the pressure-balancing spool is moving freely, as it should. What is difference between venetian bronze and oil rubbed bronze.

Is this faucet compatible with the RP19804 valve?

Hi Jaz32, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T14438-RB. This trim can be used with an RP19804 valve. The new cartridge included with this trim would not fit the older valve, but the rest of the trim can be used with the older valve and RP19804 cartridge. Model T14438-SS Shower head says it has 5 spray settings. I have the shower head in front of me but can't see how to change to each setting. How do you change settings?

Can the T11438-ss trim kit only be used on an existing delta 600 shower valve with crystal knob and a push button diverter. Thanks Joe
