Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not sure about it. It looks very nice but isn’t as sturdy as it should be for the money. Wondering about the square plastic piece in the middle of the tub faucet. It blocks the water and comes out like a worn out aerator which is not exactly what I expected. Is that piece suppose to come out or can it be taken out?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Misleading Photos [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the price paid on above-contractor grade fixtures, this Delta selection was disappointing. Beautiful in the photos, but many parts are plastic including the tub spout and diverter! After spending thousands on the same line for our newly constructed craftsman home, I am embarrassed to have the Delta Dryden collection in my home. I can't return them, but I will replace them with higher quality fixtures throughout my home. See before you buy!

We used this on a recent renovation with great results. The finish is beautiful and the feel is sturdy and strong.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Modern and Clean Lines My plumber had no problem installing the shower faucet and multichoice. The only issue I have his finger prints are very hard to remove from the sides of the shower head. I tried everything and there are still a few smudges that are persistent. Its a little annoying but no one sees it but me. Very modern look - clean lines. Not too impressed with the way the water flows from the tub faucet - seems to flow just from the front and back of the faucet with nothing in the middle, strange. But I can live with this and have no idea why it was produced this way. Plumber has no idea either. Other than that - its a very nice faucet and gave me the look I wanted and an affordable price point. The plumber bill was more than the faucet LOL

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful but beware of watermarks The tub and shower faucet is beautiful, but I need to polish and shine them after each use. The watermarks show and look unsightly if not cleaned. Some faucet companies coat the faucets with something to prevent watermarks, but not Delta.

Was skeptical before buying because of the rain design thinking it would not be enough pressure, but it has plenty. We purchased this for the master bath first and loved it so much when we retiled our spare bath we ordered it for that one too. Can't wait to take showers!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrid quality! I am so unhappy with this product. The single handle faucets for the sinks are beautiful, but the shower products look as if someone dug them up. They have no shine and they spot like crazy. They don't resemble the sink faucets at all. The material appears to be all plastic. I will never buy a Delta product again.

Cover for the shower handle (square) was so thin it felt like aluminum foil. If you can spend the extra money, upgrade to more expensive choices. I returned this product.

Why is water flow not smooth like our other Dryden products?

We have just completed a new home install, with all Delta Dryden Venetian bronze hardware. In most of our spouts, including sinks and roman spa, the water flows from the center of the spout, with a cover of some sort that directs the flow in a circular pattern. In our guest bath/shower, however, the tub spout does not have this cover/filter/screen, whatever it is, and the water splashes around the outer part of the square shape of the spout. This looks and acts as if the product is defective. Is this correct, or do we have a defective part?

Hi mvesci, Thank you for your question. The sink faucets and roman tub faucets usually have aerators or stream straighteners that control the flow and pattern of the water. Tubs spouts are generally not equipped with these parts. The water flow out of the tub spouts are different based on the design of the spout itself. Splashing out of a tub spout would not be uncommon. Thanks, Dave

What is the primary difference between the 14 and 17 series?

I'm looking at T17251-PN and T14251-PN and trying to figure out the differences. I see one has an additional temperature/mix handle, but not sure what else.

Dear HsvDavid, Thank you for your question. The biggest difference between the models T14251-PN and T17251-PN are the handle controls. The T14251-PN is a single handle, one consistent volume/pressure flow with hot and cold water. The T17251-PN is a dual handle shower unit, with a separate front temperature dial. This allows you to preset the temperature, for your desired amount/volume of water. Best Regards, Tanya

What is material of the product?

I'm interested in your Dryden shower/tub kit in chrome. However, I've read reviews on Amazon that the shower head and faucet are made of plastic, with only the handle being made of brass. Do any of your Dryden shower/tub kits come in all brass?

Hi Anya, Thank you for your question. The tub spout and showerhead from the model T14451 are made with engineered plastics that are designed to meet and exceed industry standards. All products are guaranteed with a lifetime warranty. Some shower products include brass (metal) components for added strength and weight. The rest of the components shower arm, flange, escutcheon, trim sleeve and handle are metal. We do not offer a Dryden tub/shower kit in all brass. Thanks, Dave

What size of allen wrench is used for the handle set screw on T14451-SS?

Why doesn't the shower handle go all the way to the left? Is this a safety feature?

I have the the shower head and the hand held shower piece. The plumber explained that the faucet handle doesn't go all the way to the left b/c there is an interior stop that prevents the handle from going all the way to the left. He says it's a safety feature that prevents scalding.

Hi lisab, Thank you for your question! The cartridge has a Rotational Limit Stop, which can be adjusted to allow for less or more hot water. However, at the hottest setting the handle will rotate to about the 10 o'clock position. What is the difference between a shower head that ends in WE and one without those letters?
