Monitor pressure balance valve keeps water temperature within a safe ± 3.6⁰ F (± 2.0⁰ C), helping to protect you from sudden changes in hot or cold water pressure

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 2 showerheads broke off in 2 months! In the 1st month of using this, the showerhead started spraying water around and then broke off at the gentlest touch. My bathroom designer who ordered it got a replacement, which just broke off yesterday. I'm so frustrated, as a showerhead should not be water-soluble! I promise I didn't even touch it before it started coming off. Now I'm looking at buying a replacement.

Which trim parts are metal and which are non-metal?

Can I do anything to increase water pressure with my Dryden™ One Handle Single Function Bathtub & Shower Faucet? Is there some kind of regulator that can be adjusted?

If there is a universal fitting to enable you to update it with any model shower head, this means the controls are also universal?

I’m going to replace my shower curtain with a glass door but the shower spray reaches the end of my long tub - the spray from the head sprays out rather than down meaning it will soak my hair - can i replace just the shower head?

What’s the difference between Monitor 14 and Monitor 17?

Hi BIll ST, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T14451-CZ-WE Dryden™ Monitor® 14 Series Tub & Shower Trim In Champagne Bronze. The 14 series faucets have a single handle to control the temperature. The 17 series faucets have a volume control handle and a temperature control knob. Both will fit the MultiChoice valve rough.
