Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks great We recently remodeled our bathroom and we selected the Linden set because of how great it looks. It looks as good in person as it does in the pictures. I am giving it only 3 stars because of how slow the water pressure is compared to my previous shower head. If the shower head pressure could be increased, i would definitely give this a higher rating.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Works Great! I am happy with this product with the exception of the quality of the finish and the fact that the tub spout is plastic and is not stationary, it is made to slip on and off and it also rotates. It took less than a month for it to start looking bad. It's spotty and streaking and it will not come clean. It looks terrible....but functions well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good product but problems after short ownership I have had this installed for just over a year and the diverter is completely seized up in the tub position. I am not able to find any sort of troubleshooting tips and most recommend replacing. That's seems expensive?

My retailer information says that I must use a R10000-UNBX rough-in valve with this T14494 tub/shower trim. Can I also use a DR10000PX with this T14494 trim kit? Thanks!

Asked by: Eric
Hi, Eric! Thank you for your question. The MultiChoice R10000-PX will work with the Delta T14494 trim kit. Best Regards, Rosanna

My plumber installed the trim kit as part of a remodel. I'm having trouble with water coming out of the shower head when the diverter is down and it should only be coming through the spout. O-ring on the spout diverter looks fine.

Asked by: tkk01
Hi, tkk01! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your Delta faucet. If the showerhead leaks out when you have water coming out of the tub spout without the diverter pulled up, the faucet is experiencing Shower Rise. There are a few steps that can be taken to see where the Shower Rise is occurring. 1. Make sure the valve body has the word 'UP' on the top of the body. 2. Between the valve to the tub spout, the measurement should be between 8"-18". Anything less than 8" or more than 18", you will have shower rise occur. 3. There should only be one 90 degree angle (elbow) between the valve down to the tub spout. 4. Between the valve down to the tub spout, make sure you are only using 1/2" copper pipe or 1/2" galvanized pipe. PVC or PEX piping has a smaller inside diameter which pressurizes the water up when it builds up. You can use PVC or PEX piping anywhere else in the install but between the valve down to the tub spout, you should only use 1/2" copper or 1/2" galvanized piping. 5. If these are all installed correctly, the last step we recommend would be to flush the valve body without the cartridge in. Turn off your water at your shut off valve. Take the handle and set screw out. Unscrew the bonnet nut. Pull the cartridge out. Make sure there is nothing left inside of the valve. Turn on the water at the shut off valve for a few seconds to flush the valve of debris. Turn off the water from the shut off valve and reinstall all parts. If you should need anymore assistance with this, please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358. We are available Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm, CST and Saturday, 8am-5pm, CST. We purchased an older home and need to upgrade the tub/shower kit. What is in now is a Delta so the plumber told us we had to replace it with Delta and gave us this number. Do you make other models in metal that would fit? No plastic please.

Asked by: Wilma9918
Thank you for your inquiry, Wilma9918! Delta does not manufacture any tub and shower faucets that are made of all metal. However, all of our current available faucets are shown on our website at www.deltafaucet.com. Best regards, Tanya

I have a Delta Monitor 14 series tub/shower... with what looks like the Monitor 1300/1400 cartridge RP19084/Pre 2006.   What fixture can i order that uses the same cartridge.  I need a complete Oil bronze kit, due to location i can't replace valve body.

Asked by: John
Hello John, Thank you for your question. As long as the screw holes on your large round escutcheon plate are at the 1 and 7 o'clock positions and you do not have a push button shower diverter directly below the off and on handle, then the Delta Linden Tub and Shower T14494-RB (Venetian Bronze) trim kit and any of our other trim kits that start with a T13XXX-RB/OB or a T14XXX-RB/OB (Oil-Rubbed Bronze) will interchange for you. The cartridges that come with the new trim kits will not fit your valve body, so you will need to reuse your existing cartridge (RP19804). https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/showering/tub-and-shower-faucets Best regards, Tanya

Do you have a part number for the tub drain and overflow cover?

Something that matches this T14494-SS Shower head trim kit.

Faucet Handle-water temp

We had this installed last week and the faucet handle only rotates to the 12 o'clock position (I expected it would go to 9 o'clock). Thus the water doesn't get very hot...quite warm but not hot. Can this be adjusted or is the faucet designed to do this? Thanks!
Asked by: KHooks
Dear KHooks, Thank you for you question. Based on your description, you will just need to adjust your rotational limit stop to get hotter water from the faucet and for the handle to rotate a little further. I have attached the instructional documents to this Linden 14 Series T14494 model, please look at pages 6-7 module 3 ( Adjusting the Rotational Limit Stop). https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/68881%20Rev%20L.pdf Best regards, Tanya
