Dear KHooks, Thank you for you question. Based on your description, you will just need to adjust your rotational limit stop to get hotter water from the faucet and for the handle to rotate a little further. Thank you for your question, Captainzoom! This trim will require a MultiChoice R10000 Rough-In Valve or an existing 1400 Series valve and cartridge. Hi, tkk01! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your Delta faucet. If the showerhead leaks out when you have water coming out of the tub spout without the diverter pulled up, the faucet is experiencing Shower Rise. There are a few steps that can be taken to see where the Shower Rise is occurring. 1. Make sure the valve body has the word 'UP' on the top of the body. 2. Between the valve to the tub spout, the measurement should be between 8"-18". Anything less than 8" or more than 18", you will have shower rise occur. 3. There should only be one 90 degree angle (elbow) between the valve down to the tub spout. 4. Between the valve down to the tub spout, make sure you are only using 1/2" copper pipe or 1/2" galvanized pipe. PVC or PEX piping has a smaller inside diameter which pressurizes the water up when it builds up. You can use PVC or PEX piping anywhere else in the install but between the valve down to the tub spout, you should only use 1/2" copper or 1/2" galvanized piping. 5. If these are all installed correctly, the last step we recommend would be to flush the valve body without the cartridge in. Turn off your water at your shut off valve. Take the handle and set screw out. Unscrew the bonnet nut. Pull the cartridge out. Make sure there is nothing left inside of the valve. Turn on the water at the shut off valve for a few seconds to flush the valve of debris. Turn off the water from the shut off valve and reinstall all parts. Our T14494-CZ contains both metal and plastic components, however, the finish of our products is what needs to be protected while cleaning! To clean our products, please refer to the instructions below. Always blot dry any water from the faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to build-up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean microfiber cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a damp microfiber cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse thoroughly with water afterward. If additional cleaning is required, all of our finishes may be cleaned with the following household cleaners: Formula 409® Antibacterial All Purpose Cleaner, Fantastik® All Purpose Cleaner, or Windex® Original Glass Cleaner, when used according to the manufacturer's instructions for use. Avoid using the following which can damage your finish: · Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy-duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner.
