If the handle is centered during installation, the limited swing doesn't cover the large basin while "over-swinging" the disposal basin.

I submitted an issue 2-3 weeks ago where I was asked to perform a flush which I did perform. Unfortunately, this did not change anything. A plumber has said I need a new cartridge & sprayer hose. Is that something you can assist with?

I have the 4453-RB-DST. When the valve is opened all the way we get a weak stream & the sprayer will pulse & stop flowing. What is the suggested repair?

Hi Jason, Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company! It is possible that a flush could resolve this issue with the LINDEN® Single Handle Kitchen Faucet With Spray MODEL#: 4453-RB-DST. To flush the supply line, first shut off the hot and cold-water supply. Remove the hot supply line from the shut-off valve and place the line into a bucket. Open the handle to the fully open middle position, and then turn the cold supply back on for one minute. The cold water should flow through the faucet and out the hot supply tube. Delta Linden 4453-DST faucet not rotating smoothly. Typically there is an O ring that can be replaced or lubed with silicone. I don't see anything like that in the diagram for this faucet. Is there a way to lubricate it so it swings side to side smoothly?

I am having an issue with the aerator. I tried soaking it in vinegar but the water still comes out in different directions. I looked underneath and it looks pretty crummy but I don't know how to remove it.

Hi Alan H, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. Here is what we can do to resolve your issue for you. Our Delta Faucet Single Handle Kitchen Faucet With Spray In Chrome MODEL#: 4453-DST would need to be flushed. Low flow is caused by a blockage or debris, please see the step-by-step instructions below. To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Check the supply lines: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply, then do this with the hot waterside. Once the flush has been done, please reconnect both water lines. Lastly, insert a small screwdriver into the slot in the button and remove it. Loosen the set screw inside the handle. Remove handle. Remove cap by rotating counterclockwise. Bonnet may be stiff due to O-ring, but should rotate by hand. Remove the bonnet nut by rotating counterclockwise with a wrench. Remove the cartridge by pulling it directly back on the stem. Take a soft cloth and wipe the puck located behind the cartridge, let the cartridge soak in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water for about 10 minutes before reassembling. I had a service call and the tech told me to contact Delta for a new diverter with side sprayer and a new cartridge. The model number is 4453-ss-DST. Is this something I can replace or do I need a whole new facet? He said Delta usually will replace parts.

I have the MODEL#: 4453-DST I removed the aerator cover and the aerator seems to be attached to something inside the spout and cannot come out, so how do you clean the aerator if it cannot come out of the spout.

I know that can be frustrating. We are happy to help! The o-ring in the spout hub may have worn over time. What are the dimensions of the escutcheon? And please confirm that it is provided with this model. I ask because I purchased a different faucet, only to find the escutcheon to be 1/4 inch too wide for our sink. Thank you.

Delta Faucet 4453-AR-DST purchased Gerhard's Bath Store in Green Bay, WI Aug.31, 2021 and it was installed by Vern Kummers Plumbing, Green Bay, WI on Jan. 2022. Hard to turn on and not easy to turn off. Kummers worked on it Dec. 2023 Not work now again.

How do you remove and clean the aerator, the facet did not come with any tool for removal.

We purchased this faucet a few months ago and it has dripped fairly consistently since installation. The handle needs to be firmly pushed down in an exact spot in order to be sure it does not leak. This has proven to be a real pain.

Is there an aerator that will provide a higher GPM flow than the 1.5 GPM RP54977 for our 4453-SS-DST kitchen faucet? The parts diagram lists a 1.8 GPM RP64078 aerator alternative but that part number is discontinued. Will any other part # fit this faucet?
