Broken faucet head
Faucet head would not reattached after cleaning basket. Small clear gasket was broken and fell off as I detached the faucet head while cleaning. Purchased February 2025. Cannot use as it will no longer attach tightly and leaks and will not attached as before. Have used electrical tape to get by but still leaks. Saw that the replacement head is over $80. I do not believe a new faucet head will correct issue as the clear broken gasket on the hose tip coupling that fits into the faucet head is broken. Very unhappy.

Faucet Head
On Auguste 13, 2026 removed the faucet head to clean the small basket inside the faucet head. The faucet was leaking (water leaked after touching unit to turn off) and was looking to see if basket clogged . When I removed the pull out head at the release tab, a clear fitting fell off and was obviously broken. When I tried reconnected the faucet head to the hose, it would no longer fit and caused water to come out above head. Used electrician tape to try and attached the hose the faucet head as a short term fix to use the faucet without leaking over sink. Cannot use the unit and do not know if purchasing a new $80 faucet head will fix it. Purchased it Feb 2025 from Ferguson.

Disappointing Purchase
Within two days of being installed by a licensed plumber who's done work for us for years, this faucet started leaking and not registering when the temperature increased. Ferguson store gave me a direct line to call Delta, whose CSR sent replacement parts out. Why do I have to pay to have a new faucet fixed? Beware--found many recent online reviews with same complaints. Something changed at Delta.

Not what we expected for the money
Ferguson told us to buy this faucet. Does not work well in that it switches off intermittently, no water flow when starting the faucet so we have to touch it. Too many issues since purchase less than 20 days back.

Nice Functional Faucet
Delivered quickly and exactly what we ordered. Installation was easy. It replaced a top of line solid brass & metal faucet and tho this Delta model is constructed with lighter materials, so far it’s working great. No complaints at all. The touch control takes a little getting use to but comes in handy for sure. Love the easy to clean design & fits all decor styles.

Does the button for the wide spray have to be held down continuously or just pushed in and it will run on wide spray without holding the button down until the water is turned off?

Thank you for your question. To activate ShieldSpray, pull the wand down and place the dish below the sprayer, then press the ShieldSpray button firmly. The ShieldSpray setting will turn off when the button is released.

Is it possible to take the restrictor out to get more water pressure?
I currently have a Kohler kitchen faucet with the same specifications, but our water pressure is horrible. Had it checked for debris, etc. and that was not the problem.

I have a 9913T-AR-DST and it has started leaking when it is off. I can stop the drips by turning the on-off handle to the off position, but when in the on position, it drips after being "touched" off. I cann find the part numbers for the cartridge.

Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Essa Touch Kitchen 9113T-DST faucet does not come with a drain assembly. Drain assemblies usually only come in the box of a Lavatory bathroom sink faucet.

Thank you for your question. The batteries for our Delta Touch2O Faucets, including the Delta 9113T-AR-DST Faucet, are replaceable from underneath the sink at the battery pack. Simply pop off the top of the battery pack and remove the battery case to replace the batteries.

Thank you for your question. We recommend installing this faucet with the handle on the right. You may install it with the handle on the front or left side, but the temperature adjustment will be opposite of the standard operation for single handle faucets. You could compensate for this by swapping the hot and cold supply lines under the sink.
However, the red/blue button on the handle will no longer indicate the correct temperature.

We are looking to by Essa 9113T-DST faucet. Will it work on a 16" sink, front to back, or does the angle of the faucet cause the water to spray too close to the front of the sink? Also, does every Essa 9113T-DST come with the escutheon plate? Thks.

Can the faucet be installed with water “on/off” handle in front rather than the side?

The handle operates by tilting away from the faucet to turn on and rotates forward to increase the temperature. Unfortunately, there is no way to reverse the movement, so if the handle is installed on the left, it will rotate backwards.

How does auto shut off work?
I was reading the specs and it said that the faucet will automatically shut off after 4 mins. Does that automatic shut off mean using the touch feature only or will it shut off after 4 mins in manual mode too? If I read it correctly, I can turn this faucet on manually with the knob right?
Also, is there a way to adjust the 4 min limit? Like to extend or decrease the auto shut off time?

Thank you for your question! The automatic shut off will turn the faucet off after 4 minutes as a safety feature. When in touch mode, we recommend to leave the handle in the on position. The water flow is controlled by the handle, but the faucet will still be in "touch mode" and will turn off after 4 minutes. The time limit cannot be adjusted, but a quick tap will turn the faucet back on.
When the battery box or power supply is removed (when the solenoid is open) it will be in manual mode. It will not automatically shut off when in manual mode.

I received my faucet from Amazon. It is going to be mounted on a under the counter sink with a granite top. When the granite fabricator cuts the hole for the faucet, how far from the edge of the sink should the mounting hole be cut?

Thank you for your question. The Delta Essa Pull-Down Touch2O Kitchen 9113T-DST faucet, requires 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" (32 mm to 38 mm) hole size. There is also a minimum 2 1/2" (64 mm) clearance to the back splash. It would be the installer or homeowner personal preference for the faucet location on the sink.
