Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good faucet so far Got the champagne bronze one and was a very easy install. This faucet was pricey and above my threshold until I couldn't find any other reputable brands with this color. Shows a lot of finger prints and the pull down sprayer part is plastic so the finish better hold up. Hopefully the flow stays up, but assuming the flow restrictors will get clogged. Overall a good product, but should be for the price. Looks very nice and is definitely a finishing touch to kitchen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Meets my expectations... I waited about a month to write this review. I know that sometimes I get caught up in the euphoria of any new purchase. Well, first of all, this is just a faucet, but a faucet we use dozens of times per day. It replaced a 25 year old "not" Delta kitchen faucet. I still remember the pain of the installation 25 years ago. This Delta faucet was so simple to install that it took me longer to remove the old one than to install this one. Also we were changing the configuration of our sink and removing the old separate sprayer and replacing it with a small filtered water faucet. I was concerned about compatibility with the plumbing for the Delta, but again everything went perfectly. Now the functionality - it took 5 minutes to become acclimated to the magnetic retainer for the sprayer the sprayer control and the new handle. The finish is very nice and the workmanship perfect. If there is one compliant it does take longer for the hot water to arrive at the faucet since this one has a lot lower flow rate than the old one. The hot water supply is a about 30 feet of plumbing from this faucet. Overall I have high standards for items like this since it is expensive but so far it has met my expectations.

Other than price, what is the difference between Trinsic & Trinsic Pro? Both have same model #.

Asked by: Deb1954
Thank you for your question, Deb1954! The Trinsic model, 9159-DST is the standard pull down kitchen faucet model. The Trinsic Pro version is actually model number 9659-DST and has a coiled spout that can be removed from the arm so that you can point the sprayer in any direction. The internal 70" pull-out hose can also be extended from the end of the coiled spout for additional reach. https://www.deltafaucet.com/product-comparison?modelNumber=9159-DST&modelNumber=9659-DST Best regards, Edward

Can the spout of a model 9159T-DTS be removed from this faucet ?

Asked by: Tim W
Hello, Tim W! Thank you for your question. The 9159-DST has a removable spout assembly. To remove the spout, first push in the small button at the back of the spout assembly. At the same time the small button is pushed in, twist and pull the spout assembly up and off of the base of the faucet. Best Regards, Rosanna

Considering buying this faucet for our new home, but have serious concerns about the leaking under the sink that I'm reading about on the reviews. Has Delta addressed this issue or should I consider another model? What about durability of plastic part?

Is there a similar faucet that is available with a 1.5 gpm flowrate? My project has water usage restrictions.

Asked by: DMeng

The three Delta Kitchen Pull-Out/Down faucets with a 1.5 GPM at 60 PSI are models 9192-DST, 4153-DST and 4353-DST. https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/DSP-K-19992-SD-DST%20Rev%20B.pdf https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/DSP-K-4153-DST%20Rev%20C.pdf https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/DSP-K-4353-SD-DST%20Rev%20B.pdf Best regards, Tanya

Hi there! I installed my delta faucet and the water flow both hot and cold water are low, tried with anothe faucet and flow water runs faster, is there some adjustment or something I can do to fix it? Thanks a lot!

Asked by: CH335
Hi, CH335! Thank you for your question. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing low flow from your faucet. Over time, common water debris will settle in the house supply lines. Anytime the water is shut off to a portion of the home, this debris can become dislodged and will move through the pipes to be caught by a faucet. Local construction or the changing of the seasons can also cause this. Flushing the supply lines through the unit should remedy this situation. To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Start with the easy stuff: Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed. If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is. Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow. If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside of a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Since the handle was left in the on position, the water will flow up the cold supply line, through the faucet cartridge and back down the hot water line into the bucket. Leave this flowing for at least 30 seconds. After flushing, reconnect the hot water line and repeat this process with the cold-water line to ensure all particles have been removed from both supplies. If you need further help with this process, please contact us directly and we can walk you through the procedure. We are available at 800-345-3358 (prompt 2, then 3), Monday through Friday, 8am to 8pm and Saturday, 9am to 6pm CST. Best Regards, Rosanna

Is there a particular cleaning product I should use so as not to damage the finish? I have the brass/champagne bronze finish.

Asked by: Becca
Hi there Becca, Thank you for your inquiry! A comprehensive list of cleaners is impossible to recommend because of the variety of materials that are a part of our many models of faucets. What may be fine for a spout may damage a handle. To clean, simply wipe gently with a damp cloth and blot dry with a soft towel. Stubborn hard water spots are best avoided by this daily regime. If extra measure is needed, a solution of 50% white vinegar (never Apple vinegar) could be used by wiping, spraying or soaking. Caution: Vinegar can permanently damage porous rock surfaces such as granite or limestone countertops. Use extreme care if such a surface is in the vicinity. To soak a faucet or part still on a faucet: 1. Mix white vinegar and tap water to a half and half proportion. 2. Put a rag or towel in the solution to soak it up. 3. Wrap the rag or towel around the part. 4. Let sit for up to an hour or so. 5. Use the rag or a clean, soft toothbrush to scrub the remaining hard water buildup. o Avoid harsh abrasives or polish o Avoid bleach-based cleaners o Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner. o Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust, and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents. o Because cleaning formulas can change without notice, Delta Faucet Company does not endorse any specific cleaner.
