Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaking faucet! Avoid at all cost Avoid at all cost. There is a design flaw in this faucet. Many reviewers are experiencing the same problem. The pvc pipe and pull-out pipe will leak and you don't even notice that because all those things are behind your sink. We didn't catch that until my kitchen floor is damaged by water. In addition to that the pull out sprout magnets are also lose. You have to tilt it in certain angel to avoid pulling the other piece of magnets out of the hose (which suppose to stay in the hose all the time). Total junk for hundreds of dollars. I won't trust delta product anymore.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent kitchen faucet I wasn't sure I wanted a tall kitchen faucet, but my contractor insisted it would be the best choice for a modern kitchen renovation. I love the faucet. The magnetic docking action is crisp, the retractable hose pulls evenly, the spray function is useful for cleaning the sink and the overall look is very attractive.

Once the 54" hose that it comes with is installed, how much of that hose can be extended from the faucet? If I substitute it with the 62" hose, are you saying that it will only extend 18-22" from the faucet? I am looking for a faucet that has approx. 24"

Asked by: CMMH
Hi CMMH! Thank you for your inquiry and I apologize for any confusion. With a 62" hose installed, the total length of the pullout hose from the spout will be approximately 22", however, including the wand attached, total length is 24". Best regards, Edward

We have one of these faucets installed in our office and recently the flow on the hot water side is greatly reduced almost to a trickle. The hot water supply valve is wide open. Please advise as to the best option for troubleshoot this problem.

Asked by: craig1961
Hi, craig1961! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing low flow from your Delta faucet. Over time, common water debris will settle in the house supply lines. Anytime the water is shut off to a portion of the home, this debris can become dislodged and will move through the pipes to be caught by a faucet. Local construction or the changing of the seasons can also cause this. Flushing the supply lines through the unit should remedy this situation. To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Start with the easy stuff: Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed. If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is. Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow. If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside of a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Since the handle was left in the on position, the water will flow up the cold supply line, through the faucet cartridge and back down the hot water line into the bucket. Leave this flowing for at least 30 seconds. After flushing, reconnect the hot water line and repeat this process with the cold-water line to ensure all particles have been removed from both supplies. If this does not fix the issue, please contact us back. Best Regards, Rosanna

Is their an adaptor availble to reduce the GPM? My project requires strict water usage.

Asked by: AND Portland
Hi, AND Portland! Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do not have a lower gpm aerator to reduce the flow for this 9159-DST faucet. Best Regards, Rosanna

Kindly provide the overall height and spout heights with and without the escutcheon. Tech specs in "DSP-K-9159-DST Rev E.pdf" for 9159-DST do not provide both--appears only escutcheon measurements given. Kindly clarify.

Asked by: DPaul
Hi, DPaul! Thank you for your question. The escutcheon plate is .45" thick. The 9159-DST faucet with the escutcheon plate is 15 11/16" and without the escutcheon plate it is 15 1/4". Best Regards, Rosanna

What is the difference between aerated stream and spray?

Asked by: AMR Ar
Hi, AMR Ar! Thank you for your question. The Trinsic 9159-DST sprayer assembly does have two modes, spray and stream. The spray mode is a shower-like spray, while the stream mode is a straight stream. Here is a link to a video to show an example of this: https://media.deltafaucet.com/elvis/Video/PRODUCT_9159-DST.mp4 Best Regards, Rosanna

Can I mount this on my counter

My sink is an under mount granite composite with no holes. I see this is 1-3 holes. Can my plumber mount this to my countertop and do I need any accessories to mount it that way?
Asked by: Nancy TYler
Thank you for your question, Nancy! The faucet may be installed through the counter rather than the sink without purchasing additional parts. Please refer to the Technical Specifications to ensure that this faucet will work in your specific installation. https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/DSP-K-9159-DST%20Rev%20E.pdf Best regards, Jon
