It's the worst design for a handle I have ever seen. I use a rubber band to keep the handle on the most expensive faucet I have ever purchased.

What is the minimum space required between faucet and backsplash for Trinsic 9159-DST kitchen faucet?  (No escutcheon)

Is there a way to remove the aerator for cleaning? Our water has grit which has clogged the faucet.

Thank you for your question, cmart! Model 9159-KS-DST does not have a removable aerator. However, you can unscrew the spray wand from the hose and clean the screen at the hose connection as any debris from the water lines would found here. We also recommend soaking the wand in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water to help dissolve mineral buildup. Best Regards, Benjamin

Is the finish on the arctic stainless color supposed to feel rough? I just received mine and in spots it feels rough vs most other areas it's fairly smooth. Not sure if that's normal or if I should return for a new one.

Hi - What is the length the hose actually pulls out from this faucet? In reading the questions/reviews I saw that the hose was 62 inches, but in other places online have seen that the hose is 20 inches end to end.

Is the flow rate adjustable on the handle for example if you only wanted a very small stream to fill a spoon, but also able to adjust to larger stream.

I have 9159-DST (trinsic low lead single handle pull down kitchen faucet). The screen in the Aerator has crumbled in pieces and fell out. The water flow is anything but smooth. How do I fix this or what part is needed.

Our faucet is failing on inspection because hot water requires handle to push backwards. Ours is marked with red dot to pull forward. How can this be fixed?

Hello Murphyc, Thank you for your question! I am happy to help you! Our Delta Kitchen Faucet models including 9159-DST allows for the handle to pull forward for hot water. The faucet can be installed backwards which will put the handle on the left side of the faucet and it will tilt out for cold then back for hot. The replacement cartridge will depend on when the faucet was made. For models produced before 08/01/2018, a replacement cartridge is RP60114. For models produced after 08/01/2018, a replacement cartridge is RP73000. The date of manufacture should be on the supply line tag. I am getting drips of water coming down from the supply line from inside the tube of the faucet.  I can see no way to access that line as it is inside the faucet assembly.  Will a new valve correct this.

Spay nozzle not working

Please pull the wand down and with a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water, soak the wand. Placing the mixture in a sandwich bag and place over the wand head, secure with a rubber band.
