Rated 1 out of 5 by from Indefensible handle design The handle falls off. Delta provided a new handle under warranty and we paid a plumber to install it. But the new handle fell off within a week. It's the worst design for a handle I have ever seen. I use a rubber band to keep the handle on the most expensive faucet I have ever purchased.

The faucet sometimes drips continually when turned off using the solenoid valve (by touch).  We suspect the solenoid valve needs to be replaced but can’t find the part anywhere.  What is the part number and where can I order it?

Asked by: Frank
Hello Frank, Thank you for contacting us. We apologize for your drip when touched off from your Delta touch faucet and I am more than happy to assist you today. The leak when off you are experiencing appears to be caused by debris within the solenoid assembly. We recommend doing a flush on your electronic components. Please follow the below steps to resolve your drip: 1. Put the handle in the off position. 2. Remove the blue clip that is attached to the top of the solenoid assembly below the sink. 3. Pull the solenoid off of the faucet connection. Remove the debris screen in the top connection if able and clear any debris with tweezers or a q-tip. 4. Set a bucket under the pex supply line that is exposed. 5. Place the handle in the on position and allow it to run water for 2 full minutes. This will clear the supply line out of any debris. 6. Put the handle back into the off position. 7. Reconnect the solenoid to the faucet and clip it back into place. 8. Now remove the bottom clip from the solenoid where the hose connects and pull the hose off. 9. Turn the water back on for an additional 2 minutes to clear the solenoid assembly of any remaining debris. 10. Reconnect the hose and clip it into place again. Once that is finished, turn the water on to the faucet and run it for 15 seconds. Please contact us back if you have any questions or need further assistance. Best Regards, Skyler

How to troubleshoot very low to no pressure on the hot water flow. Before the cold water flow was very low and I flushed out using the flush line and dial vault to max but nothing change. Is there a a switch that adjust the water pressure?

Asked by: Terry
Hi Terry, Thank you for contacting us, I would be happy to help you. To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Start with the easy stuff: Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed. If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is. Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow. If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Please contact us back if you have any questions or need further assistance. 1. What specific materials is the Trinsic MODEL#: 9159-DST faucet body made of? Is it solid brass? Fabricated/coated brass? Plastic? ZMACK/alloys? If you say "metals," I'll have to assume it's the alloys.

Asked by: FaucetInquirist2
Hi FaucetInquirist2, thanks for your question regarding 9159-AR-DST! The faucet body, spout, and handle are metal. Unfortunately, we do not have a complete breakdown of the materials used; however, metal parts are usually brass (hub, handle, body, tube, fittings), zinc (escutcheon, hub, handle), or stainless steel (set screw, undercover plate). Quality is of high importance to us, and our products undergo rigorous testing to ensure high-quality performance. Non-metallic products are beneficial in that they do not rust or corrode and help prevent heat transfer. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or for further assistance.
