When someone doesn't use the touch feature, then it messes you up the next time you want it on, so you need to train everyone in the house! I also like the pull down sprayer and how it clips back in so well. I am very happy with my purchase!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average At Best We have had trouble with the faucet coming loose from the counter, the cartridge in the handle sticks making it difficult to use & the shut off area is so tight that it takes a bit to make sure its not dripping. I gave it 3 stars for excellent customer service follow up trying to help fix the issues. Faucet itself is more like 2 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful finish and easy to install. Installed this unit about two weeks ago and I consider myself a novice plumber ( Like, I know how to turn the water on and off ). The one issue I had to figure out was after flushing the lines I had very low water flow on the "Hot" side. I ended up watching a youtube video and learned how to take the unit handle apart. I found what I'll describe as small black rubber chunks lodged in the hot water side. I used a toothpick to pry them out ( about 5-6 of them) and put the handle back together. The water pressure is perfect. I chose this faucet because it has a 9" reach and the head is angled at about a 35 degree angle instead of shooting straight down. This specifically was what we wanted for our farm style sink.

I also replace the fauset head washer a couple of times and still leaks . this is my 10th home and I never had problem with a fauset this old

The setting between scalding hot and cold is negligible. I’ve marked the valve body with an adjacent mark on the handle in what should be a neutral position. In this position at one point the water is cold, and in a second use the water is scalding.

Does the aerator wrench RP50815 come with Faucet 9178?

We had the faucet professional installed and I cannot find any such wrench, but the aerator needs cleaned. Do I have to purchase this separately? Thank you.

Does the faucet spray wand return to the dock when you let it go or do you need to push it back into the dock?

Venetian Bronze Color

Does the Venetian Bronze faucet coordinate with oil rubbed bronze cabinet hardware?

It's always a good idea to take the cabinet hardware and other accessories to a Delta Faucet showroom to see if your chosen hardware will match the faucet and vice versa. The color of the hardware will ultimately depend on the manufacturer, so we couldn't say if it would definitely match. However, Venetian Bronze would probably match an oil rubbed bronze finish, but whether or not it looks good together is ultimately up to you. I hope this helps!

Is the pull-down hose long enough for farm sink?

What is the length of the pull-down hose? Is the pull-down hose long enough to reach the bottom and all corners of a farm sink (Kohler Undermount Farm Sink, 9.625" D, 21.625" W, 32.6875" L)?

I am concerned with flow rate on this faucet. I have found conflicting info on the flow rate. Some sites say 1.8 GPM while others say 2.2 GPM. I want

I want a faucet with at least 2.2GPM or higher.

Hi Carly, Thank you for your question. The model 9178-RB-DST comes with an aerator with a flow rate of 1.8 gpm. You can order RP53998 which is a 2.2 gpm aerator to raise the flow rate for this particular model. None of our pull down faucets come with a flow rate of 2.2 gpm. Thanks, Dave
