Rated 2 out of 5 by from Installation was a big problem. We ordered this Delta Cassidy faucet for our recent Kitchen Remodel. When it arrived we were pleased with the finish (rubbed bronze) and quality. Unfortunately, we were unable to get it installed properly via our plumbing contractor. We used Delta Faucets in our current house and prior house. The prior fixtures were good and Delta support was good, so we bought Delta for our remodel. The installation hardware is poorly designed and we couldn't get the fixture to stay tight to quartz countertop. We ordered a replacement faucet and had the same problem. We gave up and ordered Kohler Artifacts faucet in the rubbed bronzed finish. It installed well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 4 Years Later, and Don't Love It! For the price, you'd think this would be a top of the line faucet. But here we are, 4 years later struggling to get this thing tightened. It is installed with a farmhouse sink, which makes it incredibly difficult to work with. But even that aside, why is this coming loose to begin with? Most of the underneath is plastic, so it isn't wearing well. Also, the touch on/off feature seemed cool at first, but it is kind of annoying and takes quite a few batteries to work. It also stays in the "on" position unless you tap it to turn it off. If you forget, you'll just waste a lot of batteries. I wish I would have just gotten a normal pull down faucet.

Not thrilled with sprayer function since it is not 360 degrees (split up on two sides with the stream and shield spray in between}, but it is still effective. Shield spray works super, but there is a learning curve to understand how it works best.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great quality faucet with Excellent Delta support Installed 3 years ago and have been very pleased with the faucet in all respects. We have it on a farm sink so the angle of the spout has not been an issue for us as I have read on (perhaps) smaller sinks. We have the prep sink model on our prep sink. The only significant issue is/was recently the main faucet insidiously leaked inside the cabinet soaking the cabinet causing significant damage. I removed and disassembled the faucet and found the “bonnet nut” that secures the cartridge had loosened causing the leak down the inside of the faucet. Tightening the nut stopped the leak. I don’t know if the nut is predisposed to loosening or maybe it wasn’t tightened properly when it was manufactured. I would suggest if you have one of these faucets that you check and/or tighten this nut to avoid this mishap. The nut is easily accessible behind the handle and can be tightened in 5 minutes without removing the faucet. Otherwise a great faucet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty and Functional but Beware of Placement Faucet is beautiful and functions well. Angle of spray is weird and sprays very much forward at an angle. You definitely must have the faucet hole drilled back father than normal. If this faucet had been installed at standard placement, it would spray on the top forward ledge of my farmhouse sink! We had to install it 4" farther back than normal to allow it to spray in the center of the sink. The special bubble spray feature doesn't seem to do much other than look cool. Seems like a wasted feature. I'd prefer just a good strong spray.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Avoid Cassidy “Touch” Faucets After having two of the “touch” Delta Cassidy faucets within five years, we purchased the Cassidy manual faucet, and couldn’t be happier with our decision to abandon the “touch” feature. We’ve had problems with the solenoids and when Delta refused to cover the costs to replace them, we decided the manual Cassidy is more reliable. There’s nothing worse than having a non-working kitchen faucet.

Does the sprayer stay in the last-used mode when the water is turned off and on? I.e., if the spray is on, the water is turned off and then back on, will it still be in spray mode, or will it have defaulted to something else, like stream?

Thank you for your question LMBaer! For Delta pull down kitchen faucets that feature Shield Spray, once the the shield spray button is activated and released it will automatically revert back to the spray setting. Thanks, Antoine

We recently got this faucet and when you switch the button from spray to stream and vice verse it still drips or sprays a little of the opposite option. If I go and push the button harder it will fix the problem. I’m concerned that eventually it won’t.

If the sprayer assembly is experiencing cross flow, water coming out of both spray and stream on the sprayer of the 9197-DST, we recommend to soak the sprayer in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water solution for an hour or even overnight. If this does not solve the issue, we recommend to replace the sprayer assembly, RP72680. How do I disassemble to clean the sprayer? It seems to have hard water clog, the spray is all over the place and the pressure is low.

i like the style of this product, but some reviews suggest that its too big for a 24" wide sink. Is there a smaller similar product?

Can someone tell me the vertical distance (space) between the valve and the sink / escutcheon?

Our dishwasher air gap is mounted just a few inches from the hole for the faucet. It's been heck trying to find a faucet that has a right-side control lever that doesn't interfere. This model appear to have a higher mounted control lever but I can't find the measurement in the specifications.
