Rated 4 out of 5 by from kitchen faucet flow options Overall, I like this faucet, but the spray option is 2 separate sprays instead of a full spray. Doesn't work as well to rinse of sink or rinse a sieve. My old Delta was better in this regard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Delta touch faucet Excellent product! Faucet is touch controlled making washing so much easier and is beautiful!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Over Priced, Under Featured Faucet pressure is very low, almost to the point of being unusable and yes, I have flushed the lines, ensured none of the screens are blocked, etc. Without the shower head there is plenty of pressure. The issue appears to be in amount of stuff in the head. Further, when adjusting the touches sensor off since it gets so annoying to actually have the water go on and off when you move within 6-8 inches of the faucet, it never actually goes off. Even in the off setting, the faucet will still go on and off if you are within an inch or two of it. Lots of money for a faucet that I now just use the handle to turn off and on vs the whole point of touch/touchless.

Does this have the red and blue light for hot and cold water temps?

Asked by: Allan
Hi, Allan! Thank you for your question. The Delta 9197-CZ-DST Faucet does not have hot and cold temperature indicator lights. We recommend the 9197T-CZ-DST Touch2O Faucet that does include a temperature LED light base. Best Regards, Rosanna

We just finished building our new home and have this faucet installed and it had great pressure for a week and then all of a sudden it lost about half of its pressure.  All the other faucets in the house are fine just this one has pressure issues now.

Asked by: tgcockre
Thank you for your question, tgcockre! Debris can occasionally get inside a faucets valve, especially during a new construction or when first installed. We recommend removing the wand assembly from the hose first to check for buildup. Run the water on a full mixed position while pointing the hose into the sink for about a full minute to help alleviate any further sediment. If the lowflow persists, please contact us directly and we would be happy to help further. Best regards, Edward

On the 9197-RB-DST model, with the handle upright and the 'H' visible, should this be connected to the hot water line and with the handle down and the 'C' visible should this be connected to the cold water line?

Asked by: glbear73
Thank you for your question, glbear73! Moving the handle toward the C to the upright position will provide cold water and moving it toward the H (forward) will increase the temperature. Best regards, Jon

How do you tighten the on/off handle?

Asked by: clarkluikart
This image is the RP72684 "button" that you have to remove to tighten the set screw. I got mine off with an awl, the head end of a straight pin might work too. If your sink is next to a wall, you can't see this button without a mirror or sticking your head in the sink. After tightening the set screw (with a dab of blue Lock-tite), I can't think of any reason to put this back on.

Hi, What material is the spray nozzle on model 9197 Cassidy?  Is it metal or plastic?

Asked by: Bltroche
Hi, Biltroche! Thank you for your question. The sprayer assembly for the Delta 9197-RB-DST faucet is non-metallic. All of our current sprayers are non-metallic. This helps prevent heat transfer that could result in scalding and reduce weight. Non-metallic parts are also beneficial in that they do not rust or corrode. Please know that all of our products are tested to ensure long-lasting use and have a Lifetime Limited Warranty. Best Regards, Rosanna

What is the difference between the stainless steel and the polished nickel finished on the kitchen faucets. I do not want a shiny finish and so confused on which one to chose.

Hello Dee01, Thank you for your question! I am happy to assist you! The Delta stainless steel finish is closer to brushed nickel with brush stokes in the finish, whereas polished nickel is shiny and reflective with a nickel tone. Do I need a special tool to remove and clean the nozzles on the spray head?

Hi Birdie, Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company! It is possible this issue can be resolved by cleaning the CASSIDY™ Pulldown Kitchen Faucet MODEL#: 9197-PR-DST. We recommend you try soaking the wand assembly in a 50/50 solution of water and white distilled vinegar. This could break up any possible calcium buildup inside. I am comparing this to the Broderick Faucet. Looking at the specs of these using a comparison tool on another site (build.com) it states the Broderick Faucet is made with Brass and this is made with Zinc. Is that correct?

Asked by: agmanns
Hi agmanns, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 9197-PR-DST. This and the similar Broderick model 9190-DST include brass and zinc parts. Both faucets use a ceramic cartridge and the water does not contact with metals inside the faucet. Please reach out with any additional questions! Since installation, the water pressure for both hot and cold water has been low and insufficient in this faucet. Is there a way to increase the water pressure for this faucet. D919CZPRDST. There was not a pressure issue with the replaced faucet.

Asked by: Scott
Hi Scott, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing with your Delta Faucet Cassidy™ Single Handle Pulldown Kitchen Faucet In Lumicoat Chrome MODEL#: 9197-PR-DST. Here is what we can do to resolve your issue for you. Low flow is caused by a blockage or debris, we would recommend flushing the faucet to remove the blockage. Please shut water supplies off before starting this process, also grab a towel, and a bucket. Please follow the next set of instructions, which can also be found on page 7 of the maintenance and installation sheet. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/106557%20Rev%20C.pdf To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. We appreciate your business and look forward to continuing to serve you. Please contact us back with any further questions. Best Regards, Nicole

My Cassidy is about 4 years old. The touch function stopped working this morning. Batteries were replaced, and the light illuminates when touched, but no water comes out. Water does not come out when handle is activated either. how can this be reset?

Asked by: bryand66
Hi bryand66, thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! I'm sorry that you are experiencing no flow from your faucet and would be more than happy to help! No flow from the solenoid is typically caused by debris, which can get caught in a few different areas of the faucet. Please try the following steps so we can better assist you: We will first try a solenoid reset. 1. Unplug the battery box for 30 seconds. 2. Plug the battery pack back in and secure it 2 inches away from anything surrounding it. 3. Open the handle and tap the faucet to the off position. 4. If it is still not giving any flow, please proceed to the flushing process. To flush a solenoid, please gather a bucket, a couple of Q-Tips, and a few towels to continue. 1. Turn the handle to the off position. 2. Please clear the area under your sink and remove the blue or black clip on the bottom of the solenoid. 3. Once you remove the clip, grab a towel and place it under the connection. Gently pull the hose off. 4. Place the bucket under the solenoid and turn the handle to the open position and tap the faucet to turn it on. This will allow water to flow out of the hose into the bucket. Flush this for about a minute. 5. Turn it back off, reconnect the hose with the clip and remove the clip at the top of the solenoid. Look on the top of the solenoid, inside of the connection and if you see any debris, please clean it out with a Q-Tip. We appreciate your inquiry. Please reach out directly with further questions! I am sorry that the information you are inquiring about the Delta Faucet Cassidy™ Single Handle Pulldown Kitchen Faucet, model 9197-PR-DST, is not readily available; however, I am happy to help you. Unfortunately, this part is not available to be sold separately. RP72680 would need to be purchased as a whole unit and replaced if your kitchen faucet's aerator is needing to be replaced.
