Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great faucet! The delta faucet is by far the greatest faucet I have ever owned. We have had the standard traditional faucet in my home for years and it served its purpose but was definitely time for an upgrade. It was the first time I have took on a home improvement job by my self and I felt so accomplished when I was finished. It was fairly easy to set up and put in, the hardest part was taking the old faucet out. This faucet has three different settings, one is regular running water, the next is shower spray which is great for washing tough stains off of the dishes and the other spray is a thin spray. The nozzle is detachable so you can get a more spot on clean for your dishes and it’s also great for cleaning all around the sink. My fiancé was so excited when I put this faucet in! She likes that there is more space in the sink and she’s not constantly hitting the faucet with dishes. I would defiantly recommend this faucet to anyone who is in the market for a new one.

This faucet upon installation in my home has changed the the overall look of my home to a more sophisticated image of what it was before, it's simple, sleek and beautiful and the functionality of it is something that homeowners SHOULD not do without! Rated 3 out of 5 by from 5 years later Beautiful faucet. HOWEVER. The handle started to work loose as the set screw loosened. Tightened. Worked loose again. Tightened; I can live with that aggravation. But the integrated (hot) water supply line started to leak about 5 years in, dripping onto a sink drain line. Of course I didn't suspect the faucet unit was leaking and the wet drain pipe stumped me and several others since we couldn't find where that pipe was leaking. I just replaced it with another (Delta) faucet; about to start the argument with them about the 5 year old faucet's "Limited Warranty."

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Low to no water pressure at all We installed this at the end of May and have really started using it in the past couple of months. The water pressure in the tiny stream of water it puts out is not even enough to properly wash a dish or rinse out the sink. We've cleaned out the screens numerous times and just a tiny spec of anything will clog it. This faucet was very expensive and recommended by the plumbing supply house. I fear I have no choice but to spend more money and replace it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Art over Function? Don't get me wrong, this is a great faucet, and I particularly like the Spray-Shield technology; it works great. The spray, however, is lacking. The sprayer assembly has the single stream, spray and blast functions, but the designers chose to split the spray into two, small areas, 180° from each other. That renders the spray far less effective than it could have been, had the assembly into three zones instead.

This one fits the requirements perfectly. We like the three flow options from the faucet nozzle - stream, spray, and protected high pressure spray.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid, elegant, and sturdy I searched for ever for a faucet and am so happy I ordered this one. My pull-out Pfister from a big box store started leaking out the top after two years and we couldn't get the handle to come off. I wanted to upgrade to a pull-down that wasn't so tall it interfered with the cabinets above. The Cassidy is a high arch and was perfect. It swivels completely around in a solid fashion with ease, but yet does not wobble at all in the base. I like that the handle is elevated a bit from the counter. I have it mounted to the right and I don't seem to be dripping water down it all the time. The cartridge feels fairly solid and I hope will last for years to come. I was reluctant to get the basic chrome color at first but it looks really sharp and I think it was the right choice. The metal feels really solid and the magnetic nozzle snaps firmly back into place.

It is made with cheap parts that can easily break.This is not what I was expecting for an almost $500 faucet. I'm very sorry that we chose this faucet.

The stream is extremely narrow, the spray is almost useless because there is a large gap in the middle since the spray only comes out either side, and I don’t really see the point of the Spray Shield. After paying an exorbitant amount for the faucet and to have it installed, I am going to have to pay yet again to replace the spray head with one that does not have spray shield.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality product I had my kitchen remodeled about a year ago. The faucet looks like the day it was installed. It works flawlessly. It does what it is supposed to do. We have hard water but it doesn't have any white residue and cleans up easily. I have a 30 inch apron sink and can clean every bit of it simply. There is so much available on line but my plumber cautioned me that parts may not be available and quality varies widely. With Delta you know what you are getting. A quality product and a company that stands by their products. I also have Delta in my bathroom as well. Two different remodelers usa and recommend Delta. This style worked out perfectly for me. I couldn't be more pleased.

Found the swivel to be loose and the direction of the spray head was not perpendicular to the sink and sprayed out on the floor. Since we are outside the 60 day window I am at significant loss. I have used fauce direct for other products, but this one did not work out.

Does the sprayer stay in the last-used mode when the water is turned off and on? I.e., if the spray is on, the water is turned off and then back on, will it still be in spray mode, or will it have defaulted to something else, like stream?

Thank you for your question LMBaer! For Delta pull down kitchen faucets that feature Shield Spray, once the the shield spray button is activated and released it will automatically revert back to the spray setting. Thanks, Antoine

We recently got this faucet and when you switch the button from spray to stream and vice verse it still drips or sprays a little of the opposite option. If I go and push the button harder it will fix the problem. I’m concerned that eventually it won’t.

If the sprayer assembly is experiencing cross flow, water coming out of both spray and stream on the sprayer of the 9197-DST, we recommend to soak the sprayer in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water solution for an hour or even overnight. If this does not solve the issue, we recommend to replace the sprayer assembly, RP72680. How do I disassemble to clean the sprayer? It seems to have hard water clog, the spray is all over the place and the pressure is low.

i like the style of this product, but some reviews suggest that its too big for a 24" wide sink. Is there a smaller similar product?

Can someone tell me the vertical distance (space) between the valve and the sink / escutcheon?

Our dishwasher air gap is mounted just a few inches from the hole for the faucet. It's been heck trying to find a faucet that has a right-side control lever that doesn't interfere. This model appear to have a higher mounted control lever but I can't find the measurement in the specifications.
