Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really nice faucets. Quality and vision. We ordered some special Delta faucets for our new house. They are good looking, quality faucets. We had a small problem with one after two years and Delta stepped right up and fixed the problem for us with zero hassle. Regardless of what they may cost, these faucets are worth every cent we paid for them. They are beautiful, well made and simple for repairs if needed. Delta will be our Faucet company from now on.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Missing eccuthcen! I feel this is on Delta and Home Depot. I order this faucet from Home Depot and it came without the three hole adapter. Part #RP71545. They say it comes with the faucet. Why would they ship it or box it without adaptor? The faucet is basically junk without it, I mean how many one hole sinks are there??? On top of that Home Depot says they don't even carry the part. 50 minutes plus in a chat with them to find that out. Hopefully a supervisor contacts me. Not happy with Delta or Home Depot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Good faucet [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The flow for both the spray and stream modes are very good. I like that the spray setting works at low volume; my old faucet would switch back to stream from spray if the volume of flow was not sufficient. The control works nicely though is a little stiffer than what we had. Installation was easy and no leaks on first try! Parts for the escutcheon included two brass dome shaped discs that likely were intended to fill the unused holes in the sink but apparently requires a thicker sink material than mine to be useful. Those parts weren't mentioned in the installation instructions. Overall, the wife is very happy, so I'm happy.

The entire kitchen was taken to bare walls with new sheetrock, new flooring, cabinets and appliances and granite countertops. The look of this faucet completes a beautiful sink area.

I love that the handle used to turn it on doesn't go back toward the wall, so I didn't have to worry about there not being enough clearance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great faucet I have only one suggestion. Remove the small "C" and "H" from the handle. I assume they are there to indicate which way to turn the handle to get hot or cold water. These letters are superfluous and confusing. Intuitively, one would move the faucet opposite of what the letters indicate thereby causing confusion and frustration getting used to a new device. Also, anyone can figure out that if they are getting hot water, they must go the other way to get cold and vice versa. In other words the letters are not needed i.e. superfluous. Just remember " handle up" is cold. That is really all that is needed to know.

The pull out sprayer works great & retracts like it's supposed to! BTW, received chrome on one faucet, honest mix up on their end, easy & quick exchange! The finish is beautiful and when the plumber was installing it he commented on how sturdy and well made it is. "Not your typical home improvement faucet" were his exact words. I am disappointed with the color because it is much more silver than the rest of the stainless items in my new kitchen especially the sink! I have the Cassidy Pot Filler and the color is perfect match for stainless stove. However, the sink faucet doesn't come in that color which is really dumb.

I am a fan of the magna docking mechanism and the sprayer really helps push anything left in sink directly to the drain. We have received may compliments from guests on how nice it looks.

Does the sprayer stay in the last-used mode when the water is turned off and on? I.e., if the spray is on, the water is turned off and then back on, will it still be in spray mode, or will it have defaulted to something else, like stream?

Thank you for your question LMBaer! For Delta pull down kitchen faucets that feature Shield Spray, once the the shield spray button is activated and released it will automatically revert back to the spray setting. Thanks, Antoine

We recently got this faucet and when you switch the button from spray to stream and vice verse it still drips or sprays a little of the opposite option. If I go and push the button harder it will fix the problem. I’m concerned that eventually it won’t.

If the sprayer assembly is experiencing cross flow, water coming out of both spray and stream on the sprayer of the 9197-DST, we recommend to soak the sprayer in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water solution for an hour or even overnight. If this does not solve the issue, we recommend to replace the sprayer assembly, RP72680. How do I disassemble to clean the sprayer? It seems to have hard water clog, the spray is all over the place and the pressure is low.

i like the style of this product, but some reviews suggest that its too big for a 24" wide sink. Is there a smaller similar product?

Can someone tell me the vertical distance (space) between the valve and the sink / escutcheon?

Our dishwasher air gap is mounted just a few inches from the hole for the faucet. It's been heck trying to find a faucet that has a right-side control lever that doesn't interfere. This model appear to have a higher mounted control lever but I can't find the measurement in the specifications.
