Wow! Beautiful faucet!
The new Delta Cassidy Kitchen Faucet is absolutely beautiful! I received this faucet as a promotional item in exchange for my review. It only took a couple hours to remove and install this new one. It is definitely larger, more durable and extremely powerful in comparison to my old one. I could not believe how fast I could rinse my dishes and clean my sink. The actual faucet doesn’t show water spots and is easy cleaning and maintenance. Did I mention it has touch free options??

Very solid, durable, and attractive!
Its made of solid durable metal, much thicker and sturdier than my old faucet. The electric features don't need to be connected to the power, they come with their own batteries! It seems like it's going to be easy to keep clean, the touchless feature is very exciting.

I also love the touchiness feature, it’s perfect when working with meet or dirt hands where you don’t want to touch the faucet. Nice faucet with great technology. Love the touchless feature, though find it can be finicky sometimes getting it to start and then is sensitive to stops mid wash. Installation wasn’t too difficult for my husband. Material is decent, but seems to be more plastic than metal. I have to play around with the touchless settings more, but think it will come in handy! It looks very pretty as well.

Everything and more!
This fixture is the perfect style for our kitchen. Our home is a historic Victorian home, and it has been fully remodeled. The style of this fixture is modern with a hint of old classic. I can’t rave enough about the finish!!!! A simple wipe with a dish cloth or paper towel keeps it so clean, and there are no water stains, even after over a month of use. We love this sink fixture, and all that it has to offer!

The magnet at top of faucet that hose runs through has rusted out and I had to remove it. The spraying end piece no longer stays up because of it.

Issue with Magnet
This is the second claim I will be doing on this faucet tomorrow. There is a piece called "Retainer/Magnet" and it becomes corroded and then you will see pieces of it fall out and eventually the entire piece comes out and renders the faucet hanging. Easy to change out but there is definitely a design flaw or metallurgy defect. I had this faucet for 4 years now and every 16 months I have to replace this item...Disappointed and I will be calling tomorrow.

No water pressure out of head
We like our new faucet, just had complete kitchen remodel completed two months ago. For some reason with the head off water pressure is great but screws the head on and we lose water pressure, plumber had head off once and it improved slightly but now it’s right back to low pressure, very frustrating

Leaking after 5 months
DEL-9197-RB-DST. I do like the faucet. It would have received a 4-5 star rating. But unfortunately it is already leaking after 5-6 months of light use. It is leaking at the connection between the spray head and hose. O-ring has no scars. Might be a bad design or something faulty. I still haven’t heard back about my warranty claim.

Terrible spray and pressure
I almost never write reviews. This faucet had terrible water pressure from the start. We even ordered a replacement part and it was still miserable. Finally replaced it with a product from a different manufacturer and FINALLY had enough water pressure. Don't buy this one. Its awful. Called Delta and they would not give a refund for the product.

Thanks for your question. You will need to check the manufacturing date on the supply lines coming from the base of the faucet. You may also find this information on the box. If the date is prior to 8-1-2018 you will need to use the base ring that comes with the faucet. If the date is after 8-1-2018 you only need to use the gasket, not the base ring. At what height does the facet start arching outwards I just purchased this facet but i have a window ledge that sticks out 3 in from the wall and a height clearance of only 12 in. I noted the total height is listed 15 but thats to the top after arching.
