The Delta TempSense™ LED light changes color to alert you to the water’s temperature and eliminate any possible surprises or discomfort. Delta® MagnaTite® Docking uses a powerful integrated magnet to pull your faucet spray wand precisely into place and hold it there so it stays docked when not in use. Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible product. Touch feature+shield spray awful This faucet is part of our remodel. The shield spray is a terrible marketing gimmick. It does not work at all. Don't fall for it. Water still splatters all over - when the water is working... The touch feature is terrible. It does not work. It will turn off the water on its own while you are washing without any prompting. Manual override doesn't work either. You can turn on the faucet manually, and still not get any water. Takes several tries to turn on the water. Terribly inconvenient. Wish I had my old Kohler faucet back. Twenty years old, but still worked great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Shield spray is terrible Bought this couple of months ago and the shield spray feature is awful. I called to get the older model without shield spray and the customer service was non existent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Faucet Ever! After having an older Delta touch faucet in the old house, I could hardly wait to get this faucet in our new house! No splashing, good pressure, love the plate spray feature. I also have a lot less water on the back of the sink because you don’t have to grab the handle to turn it off! Hands free means easier work every time! Makes me want to cook more!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I LOVE IT. This helps so much when your hands are dirty or contaminated with chicken juice. I haven't had any of the other issues mentioned in the reviews and I've had my faucet for almost two years. I've only had to change the battery once when a plant was drooping down and touching the faucet constantly. I say go for it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great at first, not working at all. This is a great concept. It worked well for the first 6 months, then it worked when it wanted too (even after batteries being replenished). About 2 months ago, (4 years after installing it) the faucet doesn't work AT ALL. Even with the touch feature power disconnected. No online help to solve this problem either. Only solution seems to be to buy a new faucet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from touch fails and disables faucet no water at all This was part of our remodel been used for about 3 weeks. Worked great then quit all together. No light, no touch, and disables manual faucet so we get no water in the kitchen sink. Can't cook, can't wash hands, dishes, or anything. Need a bucket to rinse the sink as it failed in the middle of cooking. Scrap that meal. Why fail in a completely disabled mode. Please fail to manual use at least. Even disconnected the wires as the troubleshooting recommends for manual usage only. That did not enable manual usage. Tried the online troubleshooting and no impact. Checked battery voltage and was fine. AC fine, not touching metal. What is with that these are insulated wires if they are so sensitive they can't touch themselves or any metal buy shielded wires and build a proper electronic system. This is not inside a computer case after all. Even computer wires can touch each other! I want this technology out of my house. It is just a faucet after all. I do not want to do electronic maintenance on hyper sensitive wires under a sink inside a cabinet on the floor. Not an appropriate working environment or an appropriate place for this kind of tech.

On the specs sheet Rev E for Cassidy 9197T-RB-DST, it says dual function wand shield spray for kitchen model only. When searching for this model, on-line retailers all say this model only has traditional stream and spray. What does "kitchen model" mean?

Asked by: Rain Flower27
Hi, Rain Flower27! Thank you for your question. The 9197T-RB-DST does come with the traditional stream and spray sprayer assembly. ShieldSpray™ Technology for the 9197T-RB-DST is not available until Spring of 2018. Best Regards, Rosanna

Should the red LED be on during normal use? Sometimes the red LED is on and sometimes not. It is not blinking. My mother in law has the same faucet but there is a blue LED during use. Where are the instructions about this?

Asked by: RyanfromIowa
Hi, RyanfromIowa! Thank you for your question. A red light on the LED light base indicates hot water in use. The red light can also indicate the batteries do need to be replaced. Best Regards, Rosanna

Hello Mark, Thank you for your question. Yes, the ShieldSpray wand/sprayer assembly RP90839RB will attach to the hose assembly of the older Cassidy Pull-Down Kitchen 9197-RB-DST faucet model. I have low water pressure with cold water only. Just started coming out slower. Hot water flows our normal pressure. What could be the issue?

Asked by: JCSmith
Hi, JCSmith, Thank you for your question and I’m sorry to hear you are experiencing low flow with your Delta Faucet. The low flow you are describing is most likely the result of debris in your supply lines or faucet. Over time, common water debris will settle in the house supply lines. Anytime the water is shut off to a portion of the home, this debris can become dislodged and will move through the pipes to be caught by a faucet. Local construction or the changing of the seasons can also cause this. Flushing the supply lines through the unit should remedy this situation. To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Start with the easy stuff: Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed. If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is. Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow. If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside of a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Since the handle was left in the on position, the water will flow up the cold supply line, through the faucet cartridge and back down the hot water line into the bucket. Leave this flowing for at least 30 seconds. After flushing, reconnect the hot water line and repeat this process with the cold-water line to ensure all particles have been removed from both supplies. If you need further help with this process, please contact us directly and we can walk you through the procedure. We are available at 800-345-3358 (prompt 2, then 3), Monday through Friday, 8am to 8pm and Saturday, 9am to 6pm CST. Best Regards, Rosanna

Hi JP, Thank you for your question. When the handle on the model 9197T-AR-DST is pulled down toward you the water temperature should get hotter. Thanks, Dave
