Disaster
I had a love-hate relationship with this which is turned into pure hate. This is a poor design once you touch it on as soon as you touch the sprayer it turns off this will turn on or off 15 to 20 times in the midst of doing dishes. Also, it runs on batteries once the battery runs out. The faucet is rendered completely useless and you’re constantly replacing the batteries.

Overall a good faucet, touch technology is nice
Love the faucet overall. The touch technology is very convenient, especially when you do a lot of cooking. The battery life of the touch sensor is also pretty good. I change the batteries every 18 months or so. The selector button on the front has definitely gotten more difficult to press, but still able to easily select between spray and center with just my thumb.
My biggest complaint - it started rusting after about 2 years. The connection between the retractable head and the downspout started puckering from rust after only about 2 years of use. Since then it has gotten worse with no idea of how to stop it or fix it. I’m looking for replacement parts, but there’s no way I can spend this much again on a faucet that starts failing after only a couple years of use.

Great when it worked.
It was a great product and we loved it until the solenoid stopped working 5 years and two months after manufacture. I called to see what the issue was and since it's 2 months out of warranty I have to pay $90+ for the part to fix it. Supposedly great customer service, I'd expect more from a $600 faucet

Let's assume my batteries run out of juice, and at the moment I have no replacement batteries and I need water immediately . Is there a way to switch it into manual mode. My faucet will not react to any lever movements with loss of battery power.

Thank you for your question. The Delta 9113T-DST can be changed o manual mode so that the faucet is still usable without batteries. To change the faucet to manual mode, first turn the water off at the shut off valve. Take a bucket with a towel under your sink. Remove the two blue clips on the top and bottom connections at the solenoid assembly. This will remove the solenoid entirely. Disconnect the wiring from the solenoid and let the wiring hang freely. Connect the two hoses that were installed in the solenoid together and secure this connection with one of the blue clips. Pull connection to make sure this is secure. Turn the water on at the shut off valve and test the water. If you should need further assistance, please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358. Is there a way to restrict the rotation of the spout to less than 360 degrees? Our faucet is installed on an island and our dog can turn the faucet on with her nose and swivel it around which then floods the kitchen!

Thank you for your question. We do not have a part to restrict the spout on the Delta 9113T-DST faucet from swiveling 360 degrees. However, as a safety precaution, the faucet does have an automatic turn off after 4 minutes.

When faucet handle is in on position and I use the touch feature to turn it off it drips from the sprayer assembly. When handle is in off position it does not.

Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a leak from your Delta faucet. Leaking from the faucet in the touch off mode comes from debris inside the solenoid. You may flush the solenoid by following these next steps.
1. Turn the water supply by putting your handle in the manual off position.
2. Disconnect the sprayer hose by removing the blue retaining clip.
3. Place a bucket under the male adapter coming out from the solenoid.
4. Run water into the bucket for 2-3 minutes. Debris located inside the solenoid should be flushed out after completing these steps.

Thank you for your question. The Delta Essa Touch2O Pull-Down Kitchen 9113T-DST faucet does have some installation requirements. However, we do not have any recommended or required sinks bowl sizes, it would be customer/installer preference. Yes, you can simply remove the hoses going into the top and bottom of the solenoid and snap them together with the blue clip.

My Essa faucet has stopped responding to touch on the neck of the faucet (that which swivels) but the base still responds. Please advise. This happened after batteries were replaced.

Purchased the touch feature which I enjoy but have changed the six AA batteries 4x in one year. Thinking of purchasing the AC adapter but not if it means keeping up with the batteries every 3 mos. must I do this? If so can I just disable this feature?
Tanya, so, are you saying this faucet can only be operated in one mode at a time? Either touch or manual? And not both at the same time? Which means, if I'm in the middle of cooking and the battery dies, I need to stop everything and replace the battery, or worst yet, change the installation of the faucet?
Many faucets on the market offers the ability to run both modes at the same time. If you touch, it will come on at a preset temp. If you use the handle, it will also run at the setting of the handle bar.

How far back from centerline does the handle move?
I have a potential backsplash and window sill space issue, thus the need to know how far back the handle travels. See photo for application with current installation. That's a Delta 462/466 series in the pic.

Thank you for your question! While the handle only moves forward from the vertical position, the faucet does require 2 1/2" from the center of the installation hole to the backsplash.

How do I disable the touch faucet (and it's automatic shut-off) so I can leave the faucet drip to prevent the pipes freezing?
Thank you for your question, Carol with frozen pipes! The touch feature can be disabled by touching the faucet to turn on, then while the water is running, remove the lid of the battery box lid. The model will now function as a manual faucet. You could alternatively disconnect the solenoid assembly and connect the hose directly to the faucet outlet below the counter. Please make sure either the handle is in the off position or the supplies are shut off before removing this part. what color is artic stainless as opposed to chrome finish?. Is it as bright and shiny as chrome? Will it look OK with a stainless steel sink?

Thank you for your question! Arctic Stainless is a brushed finish. Over the years, the color of stainless steel used on appliances and sinks has migrated from warmer tones, with more red in the color spectrum, to lighter tones where blue is more predominant. Arctic Stainless features cooler metallic tones, following a trend seen throughout the kitchen. While noticeably different, Arctic Stainless can coordinate with a more traditional stainless as in the photo linked below:

Unfortunately there is no way to increase the flow rate. If build-up over time is contributing to low flow we recommend soaking the wand in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water to break down any mineral buildup.
