Disappointing Quality
I have this faucet for only 1 year, and now the sprayer does not seat properly into the curved main pipe as the plastic retainer piece deteriorated. Otherwise, I like the look and operation of the faucet. But this quality issue knocked my rating down from a 5 to a 2.

Love the tap on/off BUT IT DON'T SHUT OFF
This new faucet was installed 5/5/32. Worked great for a few weeks. Now I have to shut it off and can't use the tap because it drips all the time.

Love the touch feature!
This is my second Delta touch kitchen faucet. The first one was over 12 years old and still working except for the solenoid which American Home Shield wouldn't replace but decided to give me money for a new faucet. I chose this one and it's similar to the original with some improvements. I trust Delta because of the good experience I've had with them and the excellence of their products.

Rust at pullout for Faucet
I have the black Delta Touch and my family has loved it, but this rust started forming and the spout will not retract to the spigot!! I have enclosed photos to show the problem. I am quite concerned about the quality now of water! Probably all is well, but at the cost I paid for this and installation I am disappointed with this occurrence. I gave only 2 stars because of the rust!

Works very well
We like it. My two reservations are:
--a five year warranty on the solenoid, apparently. We were told it was lifetime. They are listed at $193 on Delta's website today...
--The "throw" of the water flow rate lever is too short. If you want to save water by leaving the flow lowered somewhat while using the touch feature as an on/off switch, it is really only about an inch of movement of the lever from off to wide open. Fiddly.

Aesthetic upgrade, and functional
Bought when redesigning our kitchen Aesthetically perfect. Upgraded the look and matched the new cabinet hardware.
Easy installation and works perfectly.
Sometimes it doesn’t work when my wife touches it, but we came to the conclusion that it was due to the temperature of her hands…when they are cold, it doesn’t work….but warming her hands solves the issue. For me, no issue as my hands are almost always warm.

Leaks
Faucet started dripping within a few weeks of install. Changed from the spray to the stream setting and dripping stopped. But now leaks under the sink. Having the plumber confirm it is not an install issue. Pretty sure its the faucet.

Inconsistent at Best
Faucet is great!!!! ..... when it works. The touch element works sporadically. Touch it to turn it off and it's fine, touch it again to turn it on it's fine, touch it again to turn it off and it keeps flowing. Touch it 5 more times and the water is still going until you manually turn it off. Extremely disappointing at best. CS is shipping a new Solenoid to hopefully fix this issue but in the meantime, definitely not worth the extra upgrade to the touch feature.

Love the look but....
I love the look of my new faucet, but the touch sensor is so sensitive and it reverses its use with the battery pack. I have to go under my sink every time I need water. It is very inconvenient. I've tried to get in contact with customer service, but I'm still waiting for their reply.

Customer service disappointment
The first replacement part the customer service rep offered worked for 3 months, then the faucet started mysteriously turning on and off on it's own in addition to sporadically responding to touch. I reached out to the rep again, there's been no response for over a month. Would love to get this resolved, but at this point, not sure how to proceed.

I regret this purchase
The handle of the faucet is also touch sensitive, so when you want to change the temperature of the water or change the flow of the water, it turns the water off. This is either a design flaw or we have a bad one. Everyone who comes to our house and uses this faucet hates it. The other part of this faucet that I don't like is that the water is either full on or off, no decreased flow. When you turn down the flow with the handle, it almost turns the water off. No in-between. We have had this faucet for 2.5 years and have had to change the batteries 3 times. This faucet will not work AT ALL if the batteries die. You can't turn it on or off with the handle if the batteries die. And it takes 6 batteries. I don't know why they didn't design this to be hard wired. Having to change the batteries every 8 months is a pain and if you don't have any batteries in the house when they die, you have no working kitchen faucet.

Thank you Delta for an easy and quick solution
This is message regarding my earlier review about problem with Essa touchless faucet. Delta quickly replay to my complain letter and offer magnets replacement. It should come within a few days with the parts and the easy installation kit. I hope that soon I will get my Essa back working correctly:)
As mention earlier I love the Essa look, very simple and tasteful and touchless function is extraordinary helpful.

Nice when it works
Likes the new shiny faucet. Sprayer works well, well has a nice spray but when pulled out pretty far like outside the sink it shuts off. The touch feature? Works sometimes anywhere you touch it on the faucet, sometimes you can only get it to turn on when you touch the curved section. If the sprayer hose moves the wires under the sink it stops working. Dont know why. I placed it low down in sink cabinet as instruceted by manufacturer. Worked great for a week. Now won't turn on at all. DONT BUY!

Touch20 review
We were really excited about the Touch20 feature but have been nothing but frustrated. It runs through batteries incredible fast and is too sensitive. I can turn the faucet on with the handle and it shuts off when my hand leaves the handle. I then have to touch it to turn it on again. It's like the faucet has a mind of it's own when it comes to turning on and off.

Love my new kitchen faucet!
The touch technology on this faucet is awesome! Just a gentle, easy touch anywhere but the pull-down nozzle turns it on or off. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly I got used to this feature. I turn the water off more often when washing up than I did when I had to put down what was in my hand to turn a lever off. And I really like the small light in the base indicating the temperature. Two reasons for only four stars though. 1. Although being able to touch anywhere is very handy, I do wish the base was excluded. The water accidentally gets turned on when wiping the backsplash or reaching for the soap pump. 2. The spray rocker switch is very stiff making it somewhat difficult to turn on, and the spray feature doesn’t automatically revert back to regular stream when turned off. Overall I highly recommend this product.

Thank you for your question and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your LED light on your faucet. We recommend to reset the LED light wire and battery pack. To do this, disconnect the LED light wire from the solenoid. Disconnect the battery pack. Wait a full minute. While you are waiting a full minute, you can check batteries and see if they are in good condition, even try new batteries. Make sure they're all in the correct direction and tightly secured in the battery pack. After a full minute, reconnect the LED light wire into the solenoid and then reconnect the battery pack. Wait another full minute. After the full minute, you can then check your faucet and see if the blue light works better. If this does not fix the issue, please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358. We are available Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm, CST and Saturday, 8am-5pm, CST. The light indicator stays red when water is running and does not turn blue to indicate cold water. It does not flash just turns on Red. What is causing this and how do I fix it?

can the faucet be installed with the handle on the left instead of the right?

I have a 9913T-AR-DST and it has started leaking when it is off. I can stop the drips by turning the on-off handle to the off position, but when in the on position, it drips after being "touched" off. I cann find the part numbers for the cartridge.

Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Essa Touch Kitchen 9113T-DST faucet does not come with a drain assembly. Drain assemblies usually only come in the box of a Lavatory bathroom sink faucet.
