Improved design from version 6 years ago
I bought this faucet to replace an original Delta touch kitchen faucet. The original suffered from a number of issues within 3 years, including "touchy" performance and flow/solenoid issues. This newer version provides a number of improvements: 1) better battery pack, 2) indicator light for water temperature and battery replacement, 3) on/off handle integrated into body of faucet, 4) better touch performance. The only reason for not giving 5 stars, is that the included AA batteries were weak and needed to be replaced. I learned this after a few days of watching the indicator light flash when trying to turn on/off the flow. I looked it up and saw that this flashing light means time to replace the batteries.

Delta Essa Touch 2 Go
We moved into a new home about 8 months ago. We have the Essa Touch 2 Go in the Kitchen and the same style in the Laundry room w/o the touch feature. The difference in pressure was immediately apparent. The Touch 2 Go in the kitchen is almost useless now. We barely have any pressure and have not been able to figure out why. It seems as though it is declining rapidly.

Awesome faucet
I love this faucet except for one thing. We had a Moen prior and hated it but there was one feature that they had that this unit does not, and that is when in spray mode and you shut off the Moen faucet it would revert back to the stream. I love that feature so that when you turned it on again or later it did not surprise you and get water all over.

Interesting technology!
I’ve had this touch-technology faucet for a few weeks.
Pros:
- Easy to install with a YouTube video tutorial I found
- Nice looking
- Works well; I’m amazed that it knows the difference between a grab and a touch and responds accordingly. I haven’t had a time yet that it didn’t go on when I wanted it to.
Cons:
- Sometimes when I’m wiping down the sink and faucet with a towel, it picks up a static charge (maybe?) from the towel (and I’m 100% certain I didn’t have skin contact) and the faucet goes off unexpectedly. Once this resulted in my long sleeve getting all wet.
- Generally, this is a technology to get used to. I get annoyed when someone changes the pressure flow setting or temp that I prefer most of the time, so I end up playing around with the settings in an OCD-ish way to get them back to normal.
Overall I’d say it’s great and I won’t return it over the cons I mentioned. But would I buy this again if I was starting over? I think I’d be equally happy with a traditional faucet technology too. Over time maybe I’ll get totally used to it though.

We purchased this faucet while upgrading our kitchen. I am very pleased with the touch faucet and overall appearance. It was easy to install and set up. The light water sensor is such a nice touch to this faucet. I like seeing that the light is red when water is too hot and I may want to turn it down. This is a great feature as I have burned myself in the past with the water being too hot. This faucet not only looks great but easy to use as well.

I had no idea when I selected this faucet that it came with electronic features that are of no use to me---it turns off while running, and I have to tap it to get a stream again. It's WAY too complex. AND: I've had mine for 6 months and it has stopped working. No idea why.

Overall great but the solenoid has failed twice
We love our touch faucet when it works, which is most of the time. But we’ve had to replace the solenoid twice (as has our neighbor) and while customer service is great ... you still have to crawl under the sink to fix. As long as you’re ok with that - it’s a great faucet.

Huge Upgrade
So about a month ago I decided to take the plunge and upgrade my horrible leaky faucet that came with my house to a newer model. I’ve never had a touch to activate faucet and I was interested in trying it out. The cost isn’t the lowest by any means but I have said out loud that I love this faucet on my than one occasion...which is more than I can say for any other faucet that I’ve used my entire life. Give this a shot!
PS: if I can manage to install this thing by myself then most anyone can I’m quite certain!

Thank you for your question and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your LED light on your faucet. We recommend to reset the LED light wire and battery pack. To do this, disconnect the LED light wire from the solenoid. Disconnect the battery pack. Wait a full minute. While you are waiting a full minute, you can check batteries and see if they are in good condition, even try new batteries. Make sure they're all in the correct direction and tightly secured in the battery pack. After a full minute, reconnect the LED light wire into the solenoid and then reconnect the battery pack. Wait another full minute. After the full minute, you can then check your faucet and see if the blue light works better. If this does not fix the issue, please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358. We are available Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm, CST and Saturday, 8am-5pm, CST. I have a 9913T-AR-DST and it has started leaking when it is off. I can stop the drips by turning the on-off handle to the off position, but when in the on position, it drips after being "touched" off. I cann find the part numbers for the cartridge.
