Hello, Thanks for your question! The batteries are located in a separate container which will be either black or gray depending on the age of the faucet. Hi, Simon2020! Thank you for your question. The Delta 9113T-AR-DST Faucet electronics can be bypassed for the faucet to work manually. First, turn the handle in the off position. Remove the blue clips on the top and bottom of the solenoid assembly. Once the clips are removed, remove the hose connections from each top and bottom of the solenoid and connect these two hose connections together. Secure this connection with one of the blue clips. Remove the solenoid, battery pack, and all wiring entirely. The handle can be turned on and off for the faucet to work manually. Best Regards, Rosanna

I am sorry this information was not readily available, and I am happy to help! The faucet should activate when touched on the spout but not the pull-down sprayer. Because the spout does not make direct contact with the faucet body, the signal will be weaker, but should still activate the faucet. There may be a small bit of debris on the sealing surface of the touch valve. Flushing the waterway will likely clear the debris. Our Delta Faucet Essa® Single Handle Pull-Down Bar / Prep Faucet With Touch2O® Technology In Chrome MODEL#: 9913T-DST would need to be flushed, The noise you are hearing is from debris in the lines. I would like to have you do a flush of the unit, flushing the touch faucet will fix multiple issues with leaking, flow, and debris. Please see the steps below. I would like you to keep the handle in the center full-on position, then remove the wand. Hold the hose, so it does not fall back into the faucet, then point the hose into the sink. Next, I would like you to turn the faucet on by touch for 40 seconds. Then shut the faucet off by touch and back on for another 40 seconds. Then hold the handle and move it off and then back on without letting go for another 40 seconds. Once this has been done, please re-install the wand and check for leaking. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. If you have not already, please include your date of installation, full name, street address, city, state, zip code, and phone number for our reference. With our Touch20 technology, you should be able to touch the base of the faucet, the arch of the spout, and the handle to turn it off/on. There is a contact spring inside of the handle to allow this to happen and if it is not sitting properly, the touch may not work properly. You are also able to leave the handle in the open position and tap it to turn it off. This will allow you to tap the faucet at the same temperature as you previously used it. Unfortunately there is also no spray change option, is debris get clogged in the wand it can cause the spray to not work properly. I am sorry for the flow issue on your Essa® Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet With Touch2O® Technology In Matte Black MODEL#: 9113T-BL-DST, and I am happy to help you! The low flow you are experiencing appears to be caused by debris within the solenoid assembly. We recommend doing a flush on your electronic components. Please follow the below steps to resolve your drip: 1. Put the handle in the off position. 2. Remove the blue clip that is attached to the top of the solenoid assembly below the sink. 3. Pull the solenoid off of the faucet connection. Remove the debris screen in the top connection if able, and clear any debris with tweezers or a q-tip. 4. Set a bucket under the PEX supply line that is exposed. 5. Place the handle in the on position and allow it to run water for 2 full minutes. This will clear the supply line out of any debris. 6. Put the handle back into the off position. 7. Reconnect the solenoid to the faucet and clip it back into place. 8. Now remove the bottom clip from the solenoid where the hose connects and pull the hose off. 9. Turn the water back on for an additional 2 minutes to clear the solenoid assembly of any remaining debris. 10. Reconnect the hose and clip it into place again.
