Love the touch feature
Bought this because I was tired of the water accumulation by the handle from turning on and off the faucet. This was easy to install. Touch control on the handle is a plus, as I get used to not needing to use the handle on/off. Only wish the return from the pull down was a little better. I have to help finish the return.

Awesome Faucet

Best faucet ever!
I love this faucet! It looks fabulous in my new kitchen and it does exactly what the description mentioned. I especially like the led light and that it knows the difference between a tap and a grab. Definitely one of the best decisions I made for my kitchen!

Having the same issue as other reviewers where the faucet touchless function does not work properly. Works fine all day but in the evening when it is needed most the touchless function becomes very inconsistent. Won't turn on, then if it does turn on it won't turn off. sometime touching the base sharply works, but the neck is useless. Next morning all is fine. Working now with Delta customer service (which in itself is an inconsistent experience of knowledge and suggestions). I remain neutral until I see if Delta Help is able to cure my issue.

Has quirks
Using for a month now. I really don't like the excess splash from even the lowest water setting, I see Delta has announced "shield spray" which is now available on some. Sometimes when trying to use without touch no water unless I play with the handle. Hard to get water temperature adjusted to temperature I want with the lever. Might be because new to me, but at this point I am kinda wishing I had a different faucet.

Hi,
I am a contractor that has installed this faucet in a client’s home. Unfortunately, the touch feature works only part time. This is leaving my clients frustrated. I just recently had to bypass the touch feature because it has gotten so inconsistent.

Rusting Away
I installed this faucet about in late 2017 and it started to rust about 6 months ago. It has a mild steel sleeve that houses the retractable faucet head that has been completely deteriorating. There is no leakage along the hose or near the head, but water does get splashed on the joint on occasion. I’m surprised the sleeve wasn’t stainless or brass. It doesn’t look like it’s possible to replace the sleeve. We like the faucet, but the rust has made it so the head doesn’t retract all the way.

I love this faucet!
We were trying to decide between this kind or one that has a motion sensor. We were afraid the motion sensor would come on at odd times and went with this one. I wanted something that I can tap when I have really yucky hands or when I have been cooking with raw chicken. I have been using it a few weeks and realized that it seems I am really saving water when washing dishes. Now when I am at someone else's house, I tap at the kitchen faucet because I am so used to mine. I highly recommend this faucet!

Not sure I would like the touch free option, now I would never buy a faucet without it, the light indicating the water temp was unexpected, but like it also. One more thing the ease of use of the magnetized sprayer.

Works well when it works
I've had this for about a year now and it works really well when it does work. For the first couple of month no issues. At all, all the touch points worked well. About 5 months in That's when some problems happened. There would be intermittent drips and such which made me put the handle to the off position all the time so that we don't waste water when we are sleeping or away. This problem is due to the sediments getting stuck in the solenoid which in turn keeps the valve from closing completely. Not a hard fix, but delicate.
The next problem was losing the touch sensitivity. The top part of the faucet no longer works. There must be some wiring that is broken or possibly shorted, inconvenient but the Shaft still works.
Would I buy this again? Maybe a newer model more throughly tested model. The touch is very convenient.

Great Product and Great Support
This is my 2nd Delta Touch Faucet. The one in my kitchen has been in service about 3 years and we love it. Our Laundry room project just was a great place to add another one. Previously had an issue with the Solenoid on our first faucet and Delta walked me through the troubleshooting and sent a replacement. Great service!

I had planed to buy a Delta because I have had nothing short of being the most dependable faucet I have ever bought. I'm in my mid 60's and been buying Delta for 40+ years.
You may ask yourself; How often will I use the touch feature? Well I'm here to tell you,how about 95% of the time. Add there Customer Service and you simply can't go wrong.

Great faucet when it works
We purchased the faucet in December, 2016, with only the battery pack and had it professionally installed. The wires from the battery pack are poorly insulated and had to be re-routed to ensure the faucet worked as intended. Because we use our faucet frequently and have to replace batteries every 3-6 months, we purchased the plug-in adapter and installed it according to the instructions. However, the battery pack is still evidently needs to be charged because the faucet fails to work when the battery pack is low -- as indicated by the flashing LED at the faucet base -- even when the a/c adapter is in use. What's the point of the a/c adapter?

I worked as a specifier for many years and Delta was always "specification grade" and remains so with this innovative "Touch 20" kitchen faucet. No, unintended actuation's from motion. Magnetic docked sprayer is nice and spray is non-splash.

Thank you for your question and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your LED light on your faucet. We recommend to reset the LED light wire and battery pack. To do this, disconnect the LED light wire from the solenoid. Disconnect the battery pack. Wait a full minute. While you are waiting a full minute, you can check batteries and see if they are in good condition, even try new batteries. Make sure they're all in the correct direction and tightly secured in the battery pack. After a full minute, reconnect the LED light wire into the solenoid and then reconnect the battery pack. Wait another full minute. After the full minute, you can then check your faucet and see if the blue light works better. If this does not fix the issue, please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358. We are available Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm, CST and Saturday, 8am-5pm, CST. The light indicator stays red when water is running and does not turn blue to indicate cold water. It does not flash just turns on Red. What is causing this and how do I fix it?

can the faucet be installed with the handle on the left instead of the right?

I have a 9913T-AR-DST and it has started leaking when it is off. I can stop the drips by turning the on-off handle to the off position, but when in the on position, it drips after being "touched" off. I cann find the part numbers for the cartridge.

Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Essa Touch Kitchen 9113T-DST faucet does not come with a drain assembly. Drain assemblies usually only come in the box of a Lavatory bathroom sink faucet.
