Don't waste your time or money
Bought this a year ago. The faucet handle is very sensitive and I have difficulty getting the pressure of the water at a happy medium - it trickles, or blasts out spraying water all over the back of the sink and the counters. Also if the batteries go low the faucet will NOT work at all. The touch is also not very good - half the time I tap the faucet, it doesn't turn on. Very disappointed with this faucet and the price I paid for it. It looks nice though, but who cares how it looks when it doesn't work.

Poor solenoid/electrical design, difficult to inst
I bought the 9113-AR-DST thinking the touch feature would be great to keep germs and grime and such from the handle. Except that the solenoid wire apparently is broken somewhere or is shorted to ground. If the sensor wire is loose (not attached to the faucet body) and I touch the sleeve or wire it works fine. If I attach it to the faucet body per the instructions it doesn't work. I'm taking the solenoid off and using it as a straight manual faucet.
Trying to loop the hoses is almost impossible and I'm kind of worried about the stress the stiff hoses are putting on the fittings. Also extra parts were supplied which did not go with the assembly and I spent an hour going over the instructions trying to find them.
The idea is good but I think the execution from the factory leaves a lot to be desired.
1) use more flexible hoses
2) fix the Quick Start Guide. Make one guide for one model. Don't try to use one guide for 8 different models.
3) fix the solenoid design.

Buyer beware
We bought this faucet and 2 matching soap dispensers when we got a new sink. There have been nothing but problems with the faucet and 1 of the soap dispensers. 2 sets of replacement parts for the soap dispenser and it kind of works, but still doesn't dispense as well as the other.
The faucet has a new solenoid and battery pack, but still doesn't work well. Sometimes shuts off on its own, sometimes turns on by itself, sometimes won't turn on at all. We have jumped through Delta's hoops about laying the battery pack flat (must make batteries work better than being upright) to adjusting all the wires. They finally advised us how to turn it into a manual only faucet. So much for spending the extra money on touch faucets.
Not worth the money.

Frustrating
I installed this faucet about one month ago thinking it would be a good replacement for a Moen faucet we had in a previous house. I found it frustrating to keep the water running and also to get it to turn off and on with the touch feature. It seems to have a mind of its own. Even unplugging the touch feature did not solve the problems.

Love this Faucet
We installed this faucet when we remodeled our kitchen recently. It is a great faucet. I love the touch feature. No more messy faucet handles when I turn it on or off. A simple tap with the back of my hand or some other "clean" part of my hand and the water turns on so I can easily clean up.

Not so good
The faucet does not work properly. Sometimes it doesn't go on and sometimes it doesn't turn off. We replaced the batteries, because the ones it came with were dead. The faucet worked for 2 days before it started not working again. I would not recommend this product.

Very nice looking faucet, good features
The only issue with the unit is that the hot and cold led gets messed up every so often, I have to reboot the thing and it irons out. Otherwise it's solid.

DO NOT BUY-Touch Features DO NOT Work
Purchased Addison™ Model#: 9192T-RB-DST, in previous house, it worked great. Purchased new home, 1st thing I wanted to do was install a touch faucet like we previously had in our home. Purchased the Essa 9113T-AR-DST, what a disappointment. Out of the box, it felt cheap, at a msrp of $545, and a box store price around $300, you would think Delta would make a better product. But I installed it anyway, everything worked fine when the install was done. The next morning, woke up, went to fill coffee maker, touched faucet, nothing, touched again, still no water, no blue light, nothing. Disconnected the solenoid and manually turned on faucet, water, connections worked. Solenoid is the issue, after re-installing faucet 6 additional times, trying recommendations from Delta forum (it was the weekend, NO SUPPORT from Delta until 8am est. Monday morning). I gave up. Unistalled Essa faucet and reinstalled old faucet. I will be returning Essa faucet and not buying a replacement from Delta at this time. Perhaps, if I had spent the $500-$600 and purchase another Addison or similar model, I would had a better experience.

Diappointed
I splurged on this faucet and we have had it over a year but the issues are that it is constantly not connected as it drops down like the magnet isn't holding properly and the spray feature is constantly stuck between full flow and spray...my old PF which was a very in expensive faucet never had these issues even after 14 years of service...I updated my kitchen and this choice has not wowed me from a functionality stand pint.

Great faucet until it stopped working
I bought this 10 months ago and it was great until the last month and a half or so. Now it will intermittently not turn on, the light cones on and off but the valve doesn't open and no water cones out.

great until base began to crack and wobble
This Essa Touch20 faucet was installed during my 2017 kitchen remodel and worked fine until the plastic base, where the LED light is, began to crack. Once one little crack started then the base does not support the faucet and it begins to wobble (as it is touched every time to turn it off/on). The plastic base ring just continues to deteriorate until the faucet becomes nearly unusable due to wobbling. The sad thing is the touch and faucet function except for the physical mounting failing.
I have since removed the faucet to see what could be repaired and the plastic base ring contains a small led and circuit board that is attached to the faucet with one wire.
-A simple one wire solder job should work if the part is available, and this would be a ridiculously simple fix for me as I am reasonably skilled kit builder.
-Or I would imagine that the faucet could work with the plastic base removed and the wire either cut or the led removed and tucked inside somewhere.
-Or I could fill the voids in the ring and build it up with some epoxy or equivalent repair material and make the best of a bad build.
This seems like a terrible design. No, the faucet was installed by a professional and not abused in any way - I think "blaming the user" is not accurate or appropriate.
I have the same faucet without the LED/touch technology in my laundry room and there is no plastic base at all and no issues.
This is a very expensive faucet for me and it has not worked out.

Not working properly
I’ve had this faucet since December and it has worked perfect until a couple of months ago. This faucet started coming on by itself and shutting off randomly when using it. I have tried readjusting the wires and changing batteries multiple times and it will still not work properly. Sometimes it will not even turn on when using the handle, this is very frustrating. I would not recommend this product.

Great Features
I’ve had my new Delta faucet for about 3 weeks now, and I love it! It works so much better than another brand’s motion sensor faucet. It’s great being able to set the flow and temperature of the water. I really like the temperature indicator light on the base of the faucet, so by just looking at it, you know weather the water is hot or cold. It’s amazing how it senses your touch- whether to turn on or off, or it was an accidental touch.

I bought this a month ago and so far I am so happy. Love the feature that I can just tap and it comes on or goes off. The light has saved me from burning my hands blue for cold and than it gradually chances to red for hot

Love this Faucet
I bought this for the renovation of my kitchen and it is really one of my favorite things!! I wash a lot of vegetables and I don't get water anywhere because I don't have to keep turning the water off and on by hand. I have recommended this to everyone I know.

Started out GREAT ........such a disappointment
We have had Delta faucets in three homes that we have built. I had never been unhappy with any products until now. We moved into our home in July of 2016 and the faucet worked well until I put items under the sink. Watched videos stating that the wires had to be positioned away from any metal objects so I rearranged the wires and the faucet worked again until I had to change the batteries. Each time batteries are changed, moving the wires upsets this faucet and it will not work properly. This past week, the faucet started coming on all by itself and shutting off when using it. I have tried readjusting wires once again, but this time it just will not work properly. The faucet will not come on unless you touch the bottom third of the faucet. It will also not shut off at times by just touch! It stops if you use the sprayer - which also needs to be upgraded to a splash less type! The touchless idea is fantastic, and when it works, it is a fabulous faucet! I am now trying to figure out if I can just disconnect and use as a regular faucet??? This is an extremely frustrating situation! The plumbers that I have called have absolutely no idea how to make it work so I am not going to be charged for a visit! You really need to make some improvements on this product. So terribly disappointed.

Very satisfied with ESSA faucet
We have been using for about 2 weeks and are very happy with Delta faucet. The faucet was installed by a professional plumber since I could not remove the old faucet. We especially appreciated the touch feature. Helps when you hands are dirty!!!

Not built to last
We bought this item eight months ago. Over the last month there has been an intermittent failure. It simply stops working. And what I mean is that water isn't able flow through the faucet. I could almost live with it if the problem were simply the "touch on/off" feature. However, a kitchen sink without water isn't pleasant. We've installed new batteries and looked for loose connections. The light at the base illuminates when the faucet is touched.... so ...
I'm on my way to the hardware store to replace it today.

Sleek design, great finish, disappointing features
Really like the simple look and finish.
Had never used a touch based faucet before.
Have been using the faucet for a few months.
Some consistent feedback from everyone on usage which influence the rating
1) The touch technology seems to have a mind of its own. Rarely will the water continue to run as if there is any water which bounces up, the faucet will turn off. Multiple times during use. Need to often play around with the handle to get the unit to turn the water back on.
Also, seems every time you go to pull down the sprayer, you inadvertently touch the end of the faucet spout and the water shuts off.
At this point considering to disable this feature which really defeats the purpose for having purchased a touch based faucet.
2) The Spayer button requires a lot of force to go from stream to spray. Sometimes requiring a second hand to change modes.
3) The spray mode results in water splatter all over the place which limits its use. Have not experienced this before with any other spray mode faucets. Maybe the Shieldspray technology helps but for this model, the sprayer is boarder line unusable.

Works As Advertised
I installed this faucet in less than a half hour without any surprises or special tools (other than the nut-wrench that came with it). Faucet looks great and operates splendidly, although we're still getting use to the "touch" feature. Bottom line, so far so good.

Super convenient faucet
I love the faucet and recommend it to anyone who asks. I've had it for a couple of years and just 30 minutes ago noticed it was on and showing a red led. It won't turn off and won't go to magenta or blue. I changed the batteries and that didn't remedy the issue. What's wrong

Product does not work properly
I bought this product to be installed in my new kitchen. I liked it having the touch features. However after the faucet was installed and I put it in touch mode, it leaked. We called Delta, they gave us a few troubleshooting steps that didn’t work so they sent us a new solenoid. We installed the solenoid as instructed but now the faucet doesn’t turn on or off consistently. Will turn off in the middle of use or I would walk in to the kitchen and the water would be running on its own. I now use the sink in non-touch mode (meaning I turn it on and off manually) but it still sometimes doesn’t turn on and it turns off in the middle of use. There are many YouTube videos with people having the same issue. If they can’t help me fix the problem I will be returning the faucet and just getting a normal faucet.
