We are redoing our laundry room and needed a new faucet for the space. It was quick and easy to install. The color was a bit more rose colored that gold that I was expecting. The quality of the packaging and the faucet itself is very nice and I can tell it’s going to hold up for a long time. It doesn’t come with a sink drain piece but other than that, I have no complaints about it and would recommend it for anyone renovating or replacing their kitchen sink!

The weight of it is substantial, it’s definitely a super high quality material, and the brass finish is gorgeous! My plumber said it should be a super easy install, so that’s a major plus! I have been wanting for so long to go with the trend right now, which is this gorgeous champagne bronze color. I will change my counters to whitish quartz and put in white sink and then install the new faucet. And change the cabinets handles to same color. It will look so beautiful! This faucet it looks and feels very expensive! Quality is amazing! Nice finish, looks sturdy and have magnetic pull down with sprayer! You can go wrong with Delta! It will last you a lifetime! So excited to receive this as a gift!

It completely transformed the look of my kitchen — the color is so elegant and modern, and it matched perfectly with my wooden countertop and white sink. What I love is that it has a water flow and pull down handle. To spray water, cleaning is no problem. It does look very durable and I love the color.

Amazingly a replacement arrived the same day I sent a pic to let them know! I need a replacement pull-down sprayer on the second faucet and will gladly buy a replacement, because the rest of the faucet is like brand new after 12 years of use.

However the handle needs a cover so it doesn’t activate the on/off switch for water supply when trying regulate the volume/temp. Frustrating but manageable. Hopefully Delta has a handle cover (can’t find one).

Love this faucet and the champagne bronze color is perfect and will be a staple color for years to come.

I not for my leak detector, it would have ruined the cabinet and flooring. Could have been thousands in damage in short order. No response from Delta customer service after two tries. DO NOT PURCHASE.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great replacement faucet n place. Great pressure too! I went with the manual model since my plumber said 90% of his calls for faucets involve touch or wave features. The handle on this can be operated by your forearm ((like a surgeon) so I don’t even miss the touch mode.

I called Delta and they say it was designed that way. Who wants to remember what direction each faucet is and the dots are small for my eyes. Had a plumber reverse the kitchen so it was in the normal convention but the dots are backwards

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks Nice, But Really Temperamental This faucet looks beautiful, but it's really temperamental. The batteries are always going out, and then you can't get any water from the faucet. It says the batteries will last for two years, and we're lucky if they last for 3 months. Recently, the touch function is also not working, so we keep replacing the batteries, but that's clearly not solving the problem. Ultimately, while it looks beautiful, if it's not functional, I can't recommend it. Wish it worked better.

The faucet looks great but it recently started dripping, so we're a little disappointed. Our other faucets, which were less expensive, have gone over 10 years without dripping so it's a little frustrating that this one has already started to drip.

What is the color of the fabricated metal body of the faucet (not the exterior cover, but the internal actual faucet)?  Your specifications say that it is fabricated from solid brass, so it must be gold/yellow in color - can you please confirm this?

Our faucets are made of several materials, Unfortunately, I am unable to provide a specific breakdown for your faucet as that information is considered proprietary. But in general, our metal parts are usually brass (hub, handle, body, tube, fittings), zinc (escutcheon, hub, handle), or stainless steel (set screw, undercover plate). Would "Venetian Bronze" color accessaries go with Matte Black?

Hi, I am thinking of purchasing 9959-BL-DST ("Matte Black") and also a matching filtered water dispenser in a matching color. But I can't find any in the same name color. Would "Venetian Bronze" work? or which one goes with 9959-BL-DST? I won't need a soap dispenser. Thank you!

Can you use with R/O systems?

Someone responded that the sprayer is plastic. Are they saying that the pull out section (like the last 2 inches on the faucet) is plastic or do they mean the inside assembly of the sprayer is plastic. Also, is the water aerated?

For the 9159-DST & 9959-DST, is there a nozzle option that doesn't have a pullout hose or a nozzle head option without the sprayer and only aerator. Are there other solutions, not listed, to achieve this?

Is there a particular cleaning product I should use so as not to damage the finish? I have the brass/champagne bronze finish.

Hi there Becca, Thank you for your inquiry! A comprehensive list of cleaners is impossible to recommend because of the variety of materials that are a part of our many models of faucets. What may be fine for a spout may damage a handle. To clean, simply wipe gently with a damp cloth and blot dry with a soft towel. Stubborn hard water spots are best avoided by this daily regime. If extra measure is needed, a solution of 50% white vinegar (never Apple vinegar) could be used by wiping, spraying or soaking. Caution: Vinegar can permanently damage porous rock surfaces such as granite or limestone countertops. Use extreme care if such a surface is in the vicinity. To soak a faucet or part still on a faucet: 1. Mix white vinegar and tap water to a half and half proportion. 2. Put a rag or towel in the solution to soak it up. 3. Wrap the rag or towel around the part. 4. Let sit for up to an hour or so. 5. Use the rag or a clean, soft toothbrush to scrub the remaining hard water buildup. o Avoid harsh abrasives or polish o Avoid bleach-based cleaners o Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner. o Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust, and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents. o Because cleaning formulas can change without notice, Delta Faucet Company does not endorse any specific cleaner.
