Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks good, but drips... Great looking modern faucet that gets lots of compliments. It drips however, and sometimes has a random spray when in standard faucet mode. You have to really press down hard to make sure it is not in spray mode to prevent this. Even when not using the spry mode in awhile, it will randomly drip from it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Big Bar Faucet When we bought this faucet for our bar/counter online, we had never seen one in person. It's a little bigger than we expected. The pipe is very big in circumference, check one out in person first. If we would have known this, we might have shopped around a little more, but online, the style was very sleek and contemporary. It's a pretty cool look and the pull out spray nozzle is very handy for rinsing around the sink rim and filling various items of glassware etc. We had it installed by a knowledgable plumber so I can't share any install horror stories, but after it was in, I took a peek under the counter and it looked simpler than the instructions lead me to believe. I'm not real happy with the touch technology. It's really awesome when it's working with the blue LED "on" light, but sometimes it doesn't work and takes a couple of taps or more to get the water flowing. Sometimes when it's running and I re-adjust the temperature, just touching the handle shuts it off, then I have to touch it again to get the water flowing. The Touch feature should work on everything BUT the handle.Very frustrating, especially if your hands are holding things or they're soapy. This defeats the purpose of the Touch20 feature, right? I've even had it come on when nobody was near it. (The handle was in the open position obviously, as water started flowing) I would suggest making sure the handle is in the shut position if you ever leave the house for any amount of time. I think in hind-sight I would have gone old school and opted out of the Touch2O feature altogether, which is offered on the exact same faucet. As for the handle itself, I think they could have done a little better with the design. There's not much to grab on to, as I would have preferred more of a paddle design to the "stick" on this model. I guess it wouldn't matter much if the Touch20 feature worked 100%, but like it said, it's a little quirky. Maybe I could get better performance if I mess around with the wires, but everything looks clean, well connected and grounded. Who knows. As far as construction and quality, just the feel and mechanical function is top drawer. I don't see any reason why this faucet shouldn't last for many years.

What is the color of the fabricated metal body of the faucet (not the exterior cover, but the internal actual faucet)?  Your specifications say that it is fabricated from solid brass, so it must be gold/yellow in color - can you please confirm this?

Our faucets are made of several materials, Unfortunately, I am unable to provide a specific breakdown for your faucet as that information is considered proprietary. But in general, our metal parts are usually brass (hub, handle, body, tube, fittings), zinc (escutcheon, hub, handle), or stainless steel (set screw, undercover plate). I am sorry the information you were looking for was not readily available for you. Would "Venetian Bronze" color accessaries go with Matte Black?

Hi, I am thinking of purchasing 9959-BL-DST ("Matte Black") and also a matching filtered water dispenser in a matching color. But I can't find any in the same name color. Would "Venetian Bronze" work? or which one goes with 9959-BL-DST? I won't need a soap dispenser. Thank you!

Can you use with R/O systems?

Someone responded that the sprayer is plastic. Are they saying that the pull out section (like the last 2 inches on the faucet) is plastic or do they mean the inside assembly of the sprayer is plastic. Also, is the water aerated?

For the 9159-DST & 9959-DST, is there a nozzle option that doesn't have a pullout hose or a nozzle head option without the sprayer and only aerator. Are there other solutions, not listed, to achieve this?

Can I attach a water filter to this faucet?

Is there a particular cleaning product I should use so as not to damage the finish? I have the brass/champagne bronze finish.

Hi there Becca, Thank you for your inquiry! A comprehensive list of cleaners is impossible to recommend because of the variety of materials that are a part of our many models of faucets. What may be fine for a spout may damage a handle. To clean, simply wipe gently with a damp cloth and blot dry with a soft towel. Stubborn hard water spots are best avoided by this daily regime. If extra measure is needed, a solution of 50% white vinegar (never Apple vinegar) could be used by wiping, spraying or soaking. Caution: Vinegar can permanently damage porous rock surfaces such as granite or limestone countertops. Use extreme care if such a surface is in the vicinity. To soak a faucet or part still on a faucet: 1. Mix white vinegar and tap water to a half and half proportion. 2. Put a rag or towel in the solution to soak it up. 3. Wrap the rag or towel around the part. 4. Let sit for up to an hour or so. 5. Use the rag or a clean, soft toothbrush to scrub the remaining hard water buildup. o Avoid harsh abrasives or polish o Avoid bleach-based cleaners o Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner. o Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust, and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents. o Because cleaning formulas can change without notice, Delta Faucet Company does not endorse any specific cleaner.
