It came quickly and as soon as I opened the box I knew I'd made the right decision. It is beautiful (ok as beautiful as a faucet can be!) and the build quality is great. I was afraid the piece that pulls out would be flimsy plastic but if it's not actually metal (I'm told most are not as metal conducts heat from hot water) it certainly has the look and feel of stainless steel. The faucet's operating mechanism is smooth and true and the stream/spray switch works perfectly. We couldn't be happier. Btw the color of the stainless steel is very close to that of my fisher and paykel refrigerator, Bosch dishwasher, and Samsung stove so it coordinates well, which was one of my concerns. 5 stars for sure on this one!

This is the smaller of the two similar faucets, which I found to be the better size for our kitchen. Very easy to install, easy to use and the spray head is a must in any kitchen.

The operation is good, the installation was straightforward and the finish has held up just fine so far. I like the magnetic catch on the spout as it's strong enough to really hold the spout in place and the selector "switch" for stream or spray works solidly too. No downside I can think of.

As an interior designer, I'm always recommending Delta Kitchen faucets due to the magna-tite docking system and also the customer service for any issues down the road. I was very excited to see that the bar version of the Kitchen faucet also came with the pull out feature and magna-tite system that the kitchen version has. The size is perfect.

I removed the hot water hose and didn't see any obstructions. Still having this problem. Wife wants me to purchase another faucet.

It works very well however, if there was one thing I'd try to improve, it would be in the pull down system. Pulling it out works good though not perfectly but you have to help it pushing it back in place (as if the weight was not sufficient or hoses to large). But overall, great product...

Pull out and spray switch have been very useful, even with a very small sink. It is definitely not a petite faucet, and would work very well for a small kitchen sink as well. I was concerned with the pex hoses, but they installed very easily with no leaks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Queenie from HIgh quality and modern design We bought this for a kitchen remodel. It was difficult trying to find a simplistic modern looking facet without curvy curly stick handles and under 17 inches. We decided on the Delta Trinsic 9959-DST for the high rating, life time warranty, and made in North America. We have had the faucet for only two months and very happy with it and our plumber who installed the faucet recommended Delta for its quality and customer service. It is very easy to use and to clean. The pull down uses magnets and not gravity weights to hold the pullout sprayer in place and makes retractions very easy. You can switch via an ergonomic button between aerated or spray mode and have a free hand - you do not have to continuously hold the button when using the spray. There is some splashing on the counter when the spray is used at the maximum but surprised that it was at a minimum as I was expecting more. The only con, I wish it was a bit slimmer – at least by another 20%. With style these days big, tall and chunky, this was the most simplistic and higher quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by renodone from Great faucet! This might be billed as a bar-sized faucet, but it's the perfect size for a NYC apartment kitchen. There's a button on the back of the pull-out spray that switches easily from spray to a regular water stream. The pull-out spray fits back into the faucet firmly and easily each time. You can turn the water off at any temperature, so you can tell at a glance what water temperature the water will be when you turn it back on. After 5 month's use, very pleased with this purchase. Faucet Direct was flawless as always.

delta 9959 or 9159 faucets

the hole in the granite is only 1-1/4" wide. will this fit?

Hi Diana, Thank you for your question. The recommended hole size for the model 9959-DST and 9159-DST faucets is 1-1/4" to 1-1/2". Either faucet should fit your 1-1/4" hole. Thanks, Dave

I have a question regarding the 9959-DST Trinsic prep faucet. Because of the location on my counter, I will have to mount the handle on the left, so I was wondering if the handle swivels the same amount back as forward (like 45 degrees each way).

Does faucet 9959-cz-dst have hot and cold water?

Does the Delta Pivotal escutcheon work with the Trinsic bar faucet?

I would like to issue this faucet in my travel trailer. The water pump provides 3 gal/minute @ 40 psi. Is that sufficient for the faucet to operated properly?
