Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dryden in Spotless, a huge disappointment At the suggestion of our contractor, who just swears by Delta, we chose the Dryden line of fixtures by Delta for sinks and shower, top of the line. What a disappointment. The finish shows every water spot so not "spotless" at all, the big draw. And, the fixtures' finish has a dull look, not pretty at all. We prefer Satin Nickel but it is not available. And the sink stopper will not stay tight to the sink no matter what so does not hold water. This is a very expensive mistake.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great looks but parts missing (pivot nut washer) The last piece to a bathroom remodel was the Delta Faucet. The design looks great and I think it will last a long time but the drain kit was missing a pivot nut washer and the sink stopper can't be operated because the Horizontal rod is too short to operate the Lift Rod. Last, Delta should write better installation instruction for the do-it-yourself installer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from connector piece too short Love these faucet handles. Be aware that if you have granite that is 3cm. the connector piece under the spout is not long enough. You must order another connector kit that is longer, to connect the plumbing to the faucet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don’t last We put the Drayden faucets in all of our bathrooms when we built 8 years ago and have had to replace three out of the five we put in because the handles start to leak water. I think these faucets should last longer than that given how expensive they are.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not what I expected I purchased the stainless steel finish and there are water spots everywhere. My last Delta stainless faucet never showed a spot. Not happy at all.

Is there a difference in color between the spotshield stainless and the brilliance stainless?

Asked by: PGKinNM
Hi, PGKinNM! Thank you for your question. The Brilliance Stainless Steel and the SpotShield Stainless are the same in color. The difference lies in the make of the finish. You can learn more about each here: https://www.deltafaucet.com/design-innovation/innovations/kitchen/brilliance-finishes https://www.deltafaucet.com/design-innovation/innovations/kitchen/spotshield-technology Best Regards, Rosanna

I am installing my 3551lf faucet for the second time (it was in a prior sink). I am not able to get any of the three hose connections to clip onto the copper pipe nylon clip. It could be that I damaged all 3 during my removal. Thoughts?

Asked by: George
Thank you for your question, George! To connect the hose assembly, align tabs with the tabs on the quick connects. Push the quick connects firmly upward and snap onto the receiving tube tab. Pull down moderately to ensure each connection has been made. To remove the hose, you will need to press in on the tabs on both sides of the connection, then press up slightly and pull down firmly. If the tabs on these connections have been damaged, you will need to purchase a new hose. This model will have two types of connections depending on the faucet code found on the back of your spout. https://media.deltafaucet.com/PartsDiagram/DPD-L-3551LF%20Rev%20B.pdf Best regards, Edward

We have a model 3553LF. The hot water flow is getting weaker. How can I correct this? Thanks

Asked by: slide
Thank you for your question, slide! There may be debris or mineral buildup that is hindering the water flow. We would recommend shutting the water off below the counter and removing the handle and stem unit on the hot side. From here you can put a large bucket over the open valve and turn the water back on to flush out any further debris. It is a good idea to do this on both the hot and cold side. Best regards, Edward

How do I set the square base of the handle to be square with trim?

Asked by: Joyce
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 3551LF has handle bases that have set screws in the back of them to hold them in place. We suggest using a level to make sure that everything is straight and then tightening the set screws.

I’m installing the 3551 in a thick marble top and the mounting stem on the spout isn’t long enough to get the nut on. Is there a longer threaded piece available? The handle stems are just long enough.

Asked by: Scott18
Hello Scott18, Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Dryden Lavatory 3551LF faucet has a maximum deck thickness of 1 1/8" (29 mm). However, we do manufacture a thick deck mounting kit that will add 1" more to the shanks of the faucet. The thick deck kit is RP10612. https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/dsp-l-3551_F.pdf Best regards, Tanya

Whats rule for spout length vs middle-hole-to-drain-center distance D on sink? I have Kohler K-2258-8 ped sink, D=5-5/8". Desire is for water to rinse sink, not go straight down the drain.

Asked by: JR56
Hi, JR56! Thank you for your question. I am attaching a technical specifications sheet for this faucet so that you're able to determine if the faucet will work with your sink: https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/DSP-L-3551%20Rev%20F.pdf Best Regards, Rosanna

I keep reading that This faucet will not install properly on a 1 inch thick countertop and that you need an extension part in order to install it properly. Is this correct or has this problem been fixed by the manufacture?

Asked by: SueB
Hi, SueB! Thank you for your question. The 3551LF has a maximum deck thickness of 1 1/8" (29 mm). If needed, there is a thick deck kit available to add 1" more. The thick deck kit is RP10612. https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/DSP-L-3551%20Rev%20F.pdf Best Regards, Rosanna
